Nothing to do with this hobby or housing. Have you bought something that you regret? Bought RV property always needing something to repair or replace. More money than it’s worth. Luckily I sold it. Always heard RV and boats are money pits…

Used VW Jetta a few years ago. Paid 8k for it with 66k miles USA

Infamous leaky sunroof and cracked frame and minor gremlins that I never had with Japanese cars.

Lucky I got almost 2k more than I paid for it during covid when used cars prices were insane.

Helped recover some of the repair costs. Never buy anything with wheels unless it's Japanese now.

Yes I have regretted a few rental properties and fixer uppers that I lost lots of money on. Shit happens, you fuck up, but you go on.

The only way not to make mistakes is not do anything at all.

NVDA December 2021. Bought high. Sold low when I couldn't stomach losing more than 50%. Then it went back up. Hopefully I am over FOMO.

They say the second happiest day of a man's life is when he buys a boat, the happiest is the day he sells it. Everything in between is debatable, they can be an absolute freakin’ money pit.

Recreational properties are like owning a boat. Happiest day was selling mine even at a loss.

I sold a investment condo at a golf course that I didn’t read the really fine print. They got 55% of all rentals. I got 45% and all mandatory maintenance $$$ came out of my end. It’s not a money making proposition and you’re lucky to break even after taxes.

Wha???? I use mine nearly every day! (I ride bikes, so there's always something to tweak/tighten/replace/etc, lol)
Same here. I have my Wiha set on my work table daily. I’m using more TORX these days.

Yes; buying stocks and crypto without knowing really was I was doing . The next few days I was loosing 6k$+ I was so angry at myself lol. Never again! Either buy nothing or learn what you buying first or buy the safe ones like VOO etc.
That's the perfect time to buy more at a lower price and reduce the average price of your position. It's not actually lost until you sell.

People always FOMO and panic sell for some reason. Buy when it crashes and shit hits the fan, sell when its all over the news for new highs and everyone is talking about it.

My first car at 18: A used Mercury Topaz. Stalled on the first night I took it to work, and continued doing so up until I wrecked it. Ugly to boot.

I kind of panic sell most of my stocks unfortunately. At that time I was really naive about how the stock market works. I will really love to have an interesting conversation with someone that knows more about anything on the stocks and investment in general.
LOL I'd love to have a chat with you if you're interested in the boring topics of investments and financials etc... I enjoy learning about them as a hobby most times and I can share what I know ... But yes there are endless strategies and plans...

Execution is much more difficult than planning as once the red begins, it's a tough pill to swallow... but once you're used to it I think you also learn to improve from it...

Just doing my part as a friendly neighborhood happy member spreading my good karma 🤓

I have a major addiction to buying new golf equipment and almost always have buyers remorse when the new club I purchase does absolutely nothing to make me a better golfer.

I am having seller's remorse. I bought Tesla in January and sold it a few days later. Look what it is doing today.
