I use texting apps, only see the providers that respond to me that way. If they want to talk, then I call them using the number itself.

So far, no issues with booking my desired providers. If a provider that I desperately like to see wants me to message from an actual number then I sure do as an exception then delete the convo afterwards and block their number. I also make sure to tell them to discuss details on the app number and keep the actual for verification. I don't want the explicit details and abbreviations (gfe, greek, msog, etc) on my actual number sms.

If a provider only wants me to send messages through the actual number then I don’t see them, however desperate I am. I definitely understand the provider point of view and safety/security but deem mine paramount.

I want to know is how do SPs know we are using a texting app? I've tried texting myself but there's no prompt that shows its a texting app unless the app premium shows it?
