Hey Ladies,

Just wondering, how long do you have to stay away from work if you get implants , augmentation, even reduction. While we are at it, how much would it cost.

Just curious, that's all.

BTW, I prefer 'em natural.

Best tits I have ever seen were a reduction, and paid for by healthcare. They were so good everyone accused her of having implants.

On average anywhere from $3000-$6000 in total. All depends on the surgery, implant placement, implant size and type of implants.

We're you thinking of getting a set for yourself?..lol
$3000 for implants? No, you don't know what you're talking about.

Absolute minimum is $5000 but that is rare. $6000 and up. Saline will be the cheapest and least likely to cause hardening. Hardening is directly related to how long the body remains open during surgery, how much manipulation of the tissue is required, as the implant is put in place. Good after-care can reduce hardening, which is composed of daily massages several times a day for a year and almost daily massages thereafter. Some people are just lucky and the body accepts the implant without forming the scar tissue internally that causes the hardening, but most aren't lucky - most will get at least some hardening. Some gel implants have a surface that makes it difficult for the body to create scar tissue so as to lessen hardening. Everything but saline requires a larger opening increasing the chance of hardening, saline bag can be folded to a small sleeve and inserted in a small cut then filled with water. The most natural feeling ones are cohesive gel. Gel rupture frequencies are something like under 10% over a 10 year period - I am going from memory here so don't crucify me.

Tits are 3X the size for the first month due to swelling and water retention. It takes about 9 weeks to go down to the size they are supposed to be at.

You can resume normal activity in about 3 to 5 days.

Surgery is done under local anasthetic if possible.

3 b4 work and 6 b4 playing with them. Plus if you're already a C or larger and choose to get a lift upgrade, your looking at 15,000. and that's just for the first job, should you choose to maintain them or change size.

You wouldn't happen to know the name of the surgeon by any chance? I've had back problems for years and have been considering this surgery for awhile now. I've seen some bad surgery scars from this procedure which has scared me away from it.

It was in Winnipeg so may not be relevant.
Her procedure was a cut from the nipple down, cut across the bottom circumference, resection of breast tissue, and stitching up. The stitches and bandages looked awful immediately after but it healed really well, within a few months there was hardly any trace.
There is an episode of the old tv show "The Operation" about this technique. It must be online or on a torrent somewhere, it would help you a lot to see it. The woman in the show had approx 400gm removed on each side so she must have felt a load off her back. She had been an Olympic volleyball player and had to quit because of her breasts and back pain.
The most important variable is the skill of the surgeon. See as many as you can before committing to the operation. And ASK FOR REFERENCES and talk to women who have gone through it.

I like them natural as well. The only rationale for implants IMHO is if a woman has really really small breasts. Basically wanting to go from minuscule to "normal" size. But perfectly fine breasts, why tamper with 'em……My .02

Thank you everyone for contributing.

No Badger, I am not thinking of getting them myself. :) They are getting bigger, saggier, and (grey) hairier with age but nipples still work and so I am happy with my man boobs. ;)

Out of about 35 I have seen, there was just one SP that I thought could use an enhancement. Hers were smaller and looked....saggy and loose, in a deflated sort of way ( I am not trying to make fun of her just to make it clear). Otherwise, I have seen girls who are really .. really small and IMO even the tiny ones have their own charm.

Natural ones rule I think.

:)

Have you ever seen the David Cronenberg Movie "Crash" (1996).. Kinda fucked up. IMDB has it listed as:

After getting into a serious car accident, a TV director discovers an underground sub-culture of scarred, omnisexual car-crash victims who use car accidents and the raw sexual energy they produce to try to rejuvenate his sex life with his wife.

If you've seen the movie you'll get the Man with Breasts reference..Kind of a Jayne Mansfield fixation. As they recreate various famous car accidents. Truly a fucked up film.
Oh yea I have seen it ... it has some Vancouver connection, if I remember correctly. I think it was filmed here. But I don't remember it that clearly. But yea, it was a bit deviant for sure.

Go do it in Thailand. It'll be way cheaper and you'll get a vacation out of it to boot.

I was quoted $13,000 for lift & augmentation (cohesive gel/gummy bears) from the original Dr I was going to go to. I've switched Dr's but I'm preparing to pay about the same. He said about 6-8wks no jogging :( Idk about how long off work...I've known girls who have returned after a week or 2..yikes... The longer the better I'm assuming...especially with an investment like that...don't want any complications.

Was tempted to just get a lift but I used to have big natural ones...& I just want em back..I miss them
