Lets face it a lot of us have mindless soul wasting jobs. I have one, not totally mindless but close LOL. I spend a bunch of my hours thinking

1. I am Brian Leetch skating in the most famous arena on earth. Highlight end to end rushes with skating skills that border on amazing.

2. Being Pavel Bure with the world at my fingertips especially with the ladies. :D

3. A famous singer in China or Hong Kong singing love ballads with the likes of Kelly Chen, Priscilla Chan, Joey Yung.

Damn, when I was a kid I used to watch that show every Saturday morning... It was on at around 5AM, which was right when I would get up to start watching cartoons. It was the warmup cartoon before the good cartoons came on. :D

I've had times where I had to be on site 'just in case' I was needed.

I would spend my days reading.
Money was too good to not show up.

If I was daydreaming, it would be about sitting on a beach in a far-away land, with some women from that far-away land throwing themselves at me.

Then I'd go crank off a batch. Or two.

READ A BOOK!!! Right now I'm reading "Nothing But the Blues" by Laurence Cohn. It's a historical encyclopedia that covers all aspects of the blues from origins, to styles, and everything in between and how it relates to African American life ans American life as a whole. Very informative!!!!

I have a similar type job with much down time between obligations.

I am planning on buying a micro-laptop, eight or ten inch screen, and writing.
I do a journal, write articles for publication, and am considering writing a book.
Composing it not-on-paper will be so much better. I just saw an inexpensive model with great features for under $500.

Depending on your job, with the advent of laptops, the possibilities are limitless. Gaming for one. W-of-Warcraft at Work?

It's also a good way to manage your free time, so you use your work hours for your internet addictions, etc, thus your freetime is not infringed upon for other things!

And you never know what you can find on Google :
