Curious what all you Bomber fans think of this. Did the Bombers improve their team or is it just desperation and grasping at straws by Mike Kelly?

Big time desperation. Mike Kelly is not a well-liked person in Winnipeg. It's not just that he sucks as a coach, it's his arrogant attitude towards the fan and the media. I mean, a Winnipeg radio station has had a Blue Bomber's coach call-in show for over twenty years - Kelly is the first coach who's refused to take calls. Jerk.

But in my opinion, the problem is not just with Kelly - it's the guy who hired him who has to go: Bombers President Lyle Bauer. How many coaches has this guy gone through? Can't keep blaming the coaches and players all the time. Dave Ritchie was a hell of a good coach and well-liked by all, for example.

Maybe not a fair comparison on my part but Kelly reminds me of Jeff Reinbold. I agree with you, you can only blame the coach for so long. After that you gotta look at the guy who keeps hiring them. Was it Lyle Bauer that brought in Reinbold?
