On the same note as JimmyBobby’s post…Yesterday I noticed that trailer with the mirror tint next door to BOA in the alley is still there. You can justify it all day long if you want but it doesn’t sit well with me. I kind of liked driving up and parking but not anymore.

I hear you. I thought the same 5 years ago when I first went there. It is not looking any newer and I have yet to be contacted since being in its view. It is a bit off putting though.

I'm a little out of the loop and also still kinda new to this scene. What's the issue with the RV being outside BOA?

When one pulls up to BOA in the back alley there are are parking spots adjacent to theirs that belong to the house next door. For years now there has been a huge RV parked as close as possible to the property line and on the upper section there is at least an eight foot span of mirrored windows. I tried my best to peer into them but I couldn’t see anything. If someone wanted to, they could easily set up cameras and film everyone going in and out, that is without question.

I think this is an issue that has been going on for some time perhaps. I know for myself, I hadn't really put much thought into the possibility of being caught on camera until just recently. People are desperate for money these days and willing to stoop to any level...

I agree about desperate people but I believe the family has children. I saw the gate open and a fellow drive in. Kids bikes etc.
Consequently, it would have happened by now, but there are many rich people in high places that may be visitors, so a common family would not feel comfortable messing with those who can afford to be near.

I understand at this point it’s all conjecture but in all my imaginings the best I could come up with would be a situation where some very scorned woman posts on social media her discovery that her husband cheats on her at BOA, the owner of the footage sends her a pm saying she can have it for a price. She pays it then posts it with an emotional message saying how it has destroyed her life. Friends and co-workers spot you and call you out.

Fair. Honestly for me at this point, I got nothing to hide. Sure, some people may not approve if they knew I was visiting BOA, but I'm not cheating on anyone or feel like I'm doing anything too deviant. Besides, I'm not some big politician or something either. Honestly I'm the type of person that most people in my life probably already think that I visit places like BOA anyways, so it's no big deal.

I’ve got A LOT to lose. Without getting into it too much, safe to say that if I ever got caught I would never look back and say it was worth it. I enjoy it tremendously but it is literally just a hobby for me. A very risky hobby. I wished I was interested in model airplanes or stamp collecting but no luck.

This thread strikes me as hilarious. I would counsel that the best way to protect one's personal privacy would be to NOT get all up in the neighbour's business. Might I suggest parking down the block and investing in a fake nose and glasses a'la Groucho Marx?.. :geek:

All joking aside, nobody’s talking about getting into the neighbour’s business. I’m amazed it has gone this long without someone at least mentioning it. I mean it’s very unusual and as someone else described, off putting. If you’re going to comment try to stick to the material. You’re not helping anybody by stirring up something that isn’t there.

Did you notice my post about the hidden camera has been taken down by admin? Interesting...

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread! Based on the observations made so far I am going to conclude that next door is a family who doesn’t appreciate certain aspects of their neighbour and the business that is conducted within. I can’t imagine BOA doing a better job, given their location. Despite that, I am sure the traffic in the alley throughout the day is off putting to their neighbour, especially if they have young, curious children like another perbite pointed out. The trailer and the mirrors are meant to discourage people like me from going to BOA and at the very least, from parking there. They are doing everything within their legal rights and doing a stand-up job if you ask me. Am I really concerned about cameras now? No, not really. It’s possible that footage has or will be taken but that is beyond my control. From now on I’ll park nearby, put on my glasses and fake nose and saunter up to whichever door I’m told.
Having said all this, if anyone wants to elaborate on this or wants to add their own conclusions or observations to help with the conversation please do so. Im grateful that we have this site to share information and experiences and I hope going forward all of you feel safe posting your thoughts and feelings. I used to be a member about ten years ago but the toxicity became unbearable so I left. I see the mods have since cleaned things up and im glad to be back. I want to shout out to majordomo. If he’s still around, he used to be hands down my favourite perbite. I always looked forward to his comments that were always thoughtfully written, helpful and to the point. In the meantime, I’m happy to be back and wish you all safe and enjoyable time. YMMV 😉

If it's been there for years, it would have been all plastered all over the place if there was a problem with anyone getting hassled or blackmailed or filmed or whatever. It's not news, it's paranoia and boredom run amok. Chill out. Thread closed.
