Blocked Calls/ Private Numbers

I'm curious about other people's views on this. So many scams, telemarketers, etc... these days that if I don't know the number I don't answer my phone. If it is important they can leave a message or text.

I have been following that rule for a few years now. Has never cost me visa vi a lost situation or a chat I wanted to have and as you noted, if its important they'll leave a bonafide message.

If I don't recognize a phone number on call display, I don't answer it.
