Where are the hot spots for SW's in Vancouver? I'm not into SWs, i'm asking because i'm thinking of moving and don't want to end up in an area where there are lots of them(for obvious family related reasons), also is Main n 18th a hot spot for SWs? How about around St. Joseph Hospital?

Not that I am saying this, but when you ask a question like you did then it brings a "LEOish" vibe about you. Low track is Hastings and Commercial area, Mid is Brodway from Knight to Boundary, and High track is accross from the Penthouse in Vancouver.
low track... often low quality SWs with a rate of .2 to .6 for fs (Hasting St area)
mid track... often average quality SWs with a rate of .6 to $
High track.. often pretty decent quality SWs with a rate of $.6 to $$$
and of course doesnt matter if it's low, mid, high.. there is now guarantee on the service quality etc.... there are gems everywhere..

I' didn't know SW's worked Broadway from Knight to Boundary.
It's been a few years since I cruised.
Last time I cruised they worked Broadway from Knight to just a few blocks past Fraser.

Not many in that area, but that area isn't known as a great area either (all the businesses are gone under in that area).

While I am sure all of us wants to make sure the area is nice before we buy a place, hopefully you are not making SW presence a top priority in how you are choosing to buy a place? There are SW downtown and along Seymour and yet it is still $400 G for a 1 bedroom condo. And SW tracks change - remember 10 years ago, Mt Pleasant was the area for SW.
No, but there's lots of lonely truck drivers & hunky construction workers. Heck, might be a win win situation for ya.aney one sene SW at 1ave and Quebec lateley ????
it's not a top priority, but u have to try to check everything before considering a big purchase like that

18th & Main is one of the hottest areas in the city for real estate. Prices in the area have doubled in the last few years & houses often sell in a few days for over the asking price.
Surrounding areas such as Fraser take up the slack.
Depending on what kind of neighbourhood & property you're after & what your budget is, Fraser could be a good choice. Having said that, don't base a quarter million dollar plus housing purchase on info from an escort review board!
