Ava, try to make it for lunch rather than for dinner.....from my experience, they don't change the oil and the taste goes downhill later in the day.Sorry you had a bad experience
Thanks for the tip ... I will defo have to try that place![]()
And when you are drunk there is even less difference lol. What's labeled good fish & chips varies wildly dependent on how much you've had to drink. When sober there really isn't much difference.
This was my first thought.Troll's at Horseshoe Bay village, West Vancouver.
the ocean and mountain views ain't so bad either.
Oh man storm rider, great choices but both have been gone for probably 10/15 yearsNo idea if the place is still in business but the best seafood I ever ate was at "The only seafoods" on West Hastings.....that was a long time ago though. As an after though I also like Brothers Restaurant in Gastown but I am darn sure that place is long gone.

Yeah well the last time I lived in Vancouver was back in 1995 and I shared a rental basement suite in North Vancouver with a friend who made more money than me but he was always broke 3 days after he got paid.I am far happier with my present situation where I own my home outright in Calgary and make good money. That being said I do miss going to Brothers for dinner as well as Only Seafoods.Oh man storm rider, great choices but both have been gone for probably 10/15 years
#1 - Go Fish, left of the entrance to Granville Island. Be prepared to wait but worth it!!
#2 - Fish Counter on Main. Exceptional!!
