It really was a nice hit......only 1 hit......in overtime......in a game that Van absolutely positively had to win, it was nice that Bertuzzi showed a bit of heart...........had that much vaunted mean streaked of his reared up ...say 10 games ago maybe the Canucks would'nt be on the outside looking in

One hit does not mean Bert owns Phaneuf....it's just hit.

If their positions were reversed, it would probably have been Fraud on his butt. He was going in a straight line and had his body lowered for the hit. Phaneuf was coming at an angle and was more upright and a bit off balance. Good hit, though, Would like to see more, but in the new No Hit League most of the time it would be penalized.
That's just it right there, they have to do this kinda thing from the firsthardup said:

I only hope if they make it to the playoffs that this will be there playoff

It was a great play,as much as I hate to say it. But what can I say i'm both a Canuck fan(gota be hometown)and a Phaneuf fan(c'mon,the kids a perfect combo of Stevens X Niedermeyer). It was nice to see Bert FINALLY show up, for that matter everyone I think showed up.
