My handset is acting up again with dropping calls, not ringing and going straight to voicemail and not being able to access my voicemail.

How do you manually do the Network Search? Steps to fix this would be swell. Thanks.

To fix problems with Fido/Rogers phones;
1. Determine if you are:
a wimpy girly man
b 100 pound female SP
c average build
d heavy build

2. Go to Home Depot and buy a sledgehammer:
a 4 pound
b 8 pound
c 16 pound
d 25 pound

3. Put Fido/Rodgers phone on a solid surface

4. Strike phone with sledgehammer

The problem is fixed if the phone emitted sparks and smoke. If struck well with a 25 pound sledge, the electronics will emit a squeal.

5. Get a Bell phone

Very fulfilling as a matter of fact. The fact I take the odd shot at someone because of their bridge burning and sanctimonious behavior has nothing to do with my fulfillment.

I believe you’re both missing the point. As I’ve recently posted I have no problem with the chicks on the board and for the most part enjoy their input and contribution.

Had the same problems with my phone and went to the dealer where techno girl punched a bunch of buttons on the phone and it's worked fine since then. So I would recommend to go back to the dealer and they can set it up right.

That's quite a statement without examples. Care to share a few "bridge burnings" with the world? I have nothing to hide.

What model of handset do you have?

LG 2000. I hit the "connection" in Settings and pushed "manual" but it only uses a Fido network

I don't even know what it was before.
