It’s actually quite common, PERB is an 18+ site so a lot of free access wifi spots won’t let you log on or even view PERB. in the olden days before iPhone and you were looking for internet for your laptop it could be a pain lol.
Problem solved - BC Ferries is removing wifi aboard its ship on the major routes!

free wifi is usually shit anyways, not to mention unsafe if you're worried about phone hacking or simply "da man".
Its content filtering. Sites like this are considered porn. There are different categories like Hate, hacking, etc, This is pretty common with enterprise level networks

I have had similar messages in many airports, hotels and even restaurants whose wifi is a little on the parental side.
Whenever Punt connect’s to an eatablishment’s wifi, he immediately searches for dirty anal sex with midgets. If that goes through, then I Perb, etc.
…Unless the eatablishment is White Spot, then I add Triple Orgasms to the search list. Or if it’s Cdn Tire, I add 20” High Profile Rubbers on Sale to the search. For BC Ferries, I re-route my DSL’s throigh a pseudo Chinese state site called BC Liberal Peoples United Party of Canada before I connect, and then it’s smooth sailing with Pornhub all the way to Tsawwassen.

I can't view perb at my work Wi-Fi. Its blocked as well. At first I came to the conclusion that some higher ups knew of perb lol. I thought....WTF!!

I really wonder how many people who use the wifi on BC Ferries, use a VPN.
I'm a relative regular BC Ferries rider and I can say pretty emphatically their WIFI sucks the big onion. To the point where it is so bad that when sending email or trying to view pretty much any site, I have to shut my WIFI Off to default to my cell connection. My phone always wears Blackberry DTEK protection so I am not all that worried about it being an open network, but their connectivity and bandwidth is so bad I long ago decided to just use my cell connection. If it is true they are dropping WIFI, for me, its absolutely no loss whatever.
Like said above, a common thing. Including VGH internet access. But you can get around it, using Tor browser.. if you can't wait and just must!
I travel the Ferries often for work and I've always used my mobile hotspot as the Ferries service was always painfully slow and of course I could also read Perb!
Hotspot is a good thing for sharing a connection, but you must have access to your data plan, or somebody else's. If you have that access, I don't understand the Hotspot need - Hotspot is for sharing your connection with others.
There was a little useful program, of which I forgot the name, but I used to use it in China to by pass their restrictions. Facebook was blocked for example, but with that software I had unrestricted access to Facebook and anything else. That would also work with perb.
