Back in the day... What are your thoughts?

Fellas...

Is it me or does anyone else reminiscence about the good old days. I can't help but look back at when I started this hobby roughly in 2013 and how noticeably different it has become.

Remember when we had Craigslist and Backpage? Man that was sweet. That brought so much more selection to the table and I always remember finding gems left right and center.

The amount of fake ads and limited selection seems to be more prevalent more than ever now. Along with these bitchy Montreal girls or robotic providers. Don't get me wrong, I still think there are a lot of beautiful women to explore and experience. The nostalgia of how it was back in the day still echoes through my mind....

My participation in this hobby has drastically reduced in the last 2 years. Maybe it's just me? I'm not sure...but when I scan Leolist I usually find myself closing the browser hoping that gem will pop up next time.

Talk to me guys, what are your thoughts?

It was different back then. Two things stand out for me. Mostly I miss the part timers, not in the the life style but having 4 or five regulars to make things work. The relationship was much more real then, and a whole lot safer too.
The other stand out is how business like the whole thing is now, even corporate in many aspects.

Currently on the bench dodging Covid, finding it easier to see from a distance than inside the room, so to speak.
Really miss that part timers.....

LL is a real joke...lots and lots of ladies on that are Fake, Scam & Ripp-off. One has to be very, very careful to see ladies on LL. The days of backpage and craigslist was a luxury and so many options and yes, there were some Fakes, Scams but not like LL these days. It is really disgusting that these low life scammers ripp-off people.

Back in the day there was no internet nor mobile phones. We found ads in the Buy and Sell newspaper (real paper and ink) and called them on pay telephones from booths on street corners.

Wow, you just brought back some memories. I remember waiting for Thursdays to come as that was when the Buy and Sell came out each week. Always looked for someone new and interesting. If I remember correctly there was also another publication that I looked for but don't remember which. Georgia Straight maybe?

Covid certainly has dramatically reduced the number of providers. Hopefully by Fall we will be back to seeing more ladies jumping back in the pool.

I remember looking at the buy and sell and the straight, using a payphone when I got downtown to start calling, and then looking in a mapbook to figure out how the hell to get to their incall. No reviews to look through just going in blind.

I will check leo multiple times throughout the day hoping to see something. It definitely has gone downhill, even more so especially since covid.

Ah yes! For me it was the West Ender and the rank of pay phones in Pacific Centre Mall. No PERB or reviews to help out. I used to try to guess if an advertiser was reliable by how many weeks in a row her ad appeared with the same name and number. I did meet some great ladies, but most of them have aged out of the business, whereas I'm still trying to stay in the game in this new world.

Lol I remember having to wait to use a payphone that no one was around. Never wanted anyone to hear the conversation.

Always was a bitch when you ran out of quarters. I don't remember ATM machines being that readily available to get cash out to get more change.
