NFL! I rather watch the NFL, then their minor league, aka the cfl, anyday! Any player who's good enough to be a starter in the NFL, would never play in the CFL, so why watch the second best players, when you can watch the top players.

To be honest, I am an NFL fan 1st, and an NHL, NBA, MLB 2nd. I'll watch an NFL game over a CFL game anyday BUT I do respect the CFL, and what the CFL has to offer, lots of scoring and a wider field. I feel if the CFL had 10 teams instead of 8 it would be better for Canada and it's loyal fans, because it is a joke that the B.C. Lions should have to play the Sakatchewan Roughriders 4 times this year with an 18 game schedule in an eight team league, when the NFL plays only 16 games in the regular season.

Ok boys, help me out here. Why they call it BC Lions instead of Vancouver Lions? I much prefer the sound of BC Lions. Other teams have their cities backing up the names like: Toronto Argos, Edmonton Eskimos and so on.

Probably for the same reason the Saskatchewan Roughriders aren't the Regina Roughriders. Or the Carolina Hurricanes aren't the Raleigh-Durham Hurricanes. Or the New Jersey Devils aren't the (insert name of city where their arena is located) Devils. Or the Florida Marlins aren't the Miami Marlins. Or the Arizona Diamondbacks aren't the Phoenix Diamondbacks. Just because. :)

Personally SDM after watching the last two Lions versus Montreal games,
they were very exciting. Okay I'm not an Nfl fan but how one could describe these two games I mentioned as one dimensional is beyond me.

The drama you speak of, to me, is just the hype the American media can
afford the NFL. At least that's the way I see it.

Granted in a poll hands down there are more people who attend/watch
the NFL.

Some teams try to capture a more regional audience than just the city they play in. Calling them the Saskatchewan Roughriders rather than the Regina Roughriders gives the entire province a stake in the team. I suppose in BC's case they want to attract fans from Victoria or the Fraser Valley or other parts of the Southern Mainland. The New England Patriots are a perfect example of this in the U.S. and New England isn't even a state. With fans coming to Fenway from all over the upper North East how come they're not the New England Red Sox?

I will probably watch both NFL and CFL games if the time of each game allows me. In the past I have been know to switch back and forth between channels to watch two games at the same time.

The CFL comes first then the NFL. Well unless a CFL game proves to be a stinker then I'll watch the NFL. Anyhow, I thought this year the CFL stopped Sunday games once the NFL season starts except for playoffs? To me it's nuts for the CFL to compete with the NFL for fans on the same day.

The Lions game against Saskatchewan will be better than any NFL game. Monday Night football 9-0. Ugh! Too boring.

The NFL is hyped much better than the CFL and I'm sure the players, for the most part, are better too but Canadian football is a much more exciting game.

Neither....I'll be watching the Ryder Cup but will check in on the Lions first then the NFL. How about those 9-0, 9-6, 14-3, 16-6 games, eh? YAWN.
