Automated Car Wash

Just picked up a new black car. In the past I took the car through an automated car wash and wasn't too worried about any fine line surface scratches
as it was white in colour and white doesn't show. Anyone have any have bad stories with their car being strached getting scratched?

I have a black vehicle and use the autowash all the time. I haven't had any bad stories yet. There are scratches here and there on my vehicle but they are mostly from the road. Again, my vehicle is just a vehicle to me. I used to baby it when it was brand new, but after a while that just seemed silly.

Yeah I used an automated car wash where they hook you in and run you through the gauntlet. Left a ton of fine patches of scratches on my expensive black vehicle. Not pleased. Touch-less or hand detailing is the way to go.
