You have a point, but psychologists say that who you partner up with is a reflection of what you think your inner self is, and a reflection of your aspirations in the world - in other words, a direct indictment of that person as someone who is ashamed of her own identity and would prefer to be someone else.

I was shopping at the Costco near lougheed mall last night, and saw this asian lady, literally yelling at her man ( older caucasian man ).....and I mean very loud. I heard bits and pieces as I walked by with my cart. I stopped very close by and looked at a product...had to make it look good. Anyway, the part I heard.....she kept yelling why he kept wondering in the store and not tellling her where he was, and why he was buying all sorts of products lol. And....all he did was just stand there and took it. No reaction!
Alot of people were witnessing this and shocked that he was taking all this abuse! Very humiliating. A bit later on, I was in line waiting to pay for my products and they showed up......she was still going on about it. So, much that one of the employees had to step in, but not sure what he said to both of them. A part of me felt bad for him.
Got the cashier and we had a chuckle about it. Even she was amazed he took that in public.
