I agree. Sometimes idiots who can't pick up women, will come up with bizarre reasons as to why.
They can't see that their methods are idiotic. Then come to conclusions....."well if she wont date wonderful me....she must be a racist!"

Asian girls as well as Indian girls I have dated. On occasion have mentioned to me, they prefer white guys. If I ask why, its always been because they find men of their race to be sexists, not really to be the white mans slave as some of you whiners think.

Well of course, date who you want and it's nobody's business. I agree with that. But if you think we should stop there, then we might be missing out on gaining an understanding on why some people loathe persons of their own culture and seem to find themselves attracted only to persons of a certain other kind of culture. Think about it, loathing your own culture and people who look like you, isn't that absolutely mind boggling? Do you not have any curiosity about this? I'm not saying you should, but there's nothing wrong with others talking about it.I guess being an equal opportunist like I am, I really couldn't care less who dates who. There is no one set of rules in within a race and as time goes on, the rules will be thrown out the window anyways. These kinda threads kinda make me chuckle. We spend too much time worrying about what others are doing and not enough time on ourselves.

Why should she? It's her life, she can date who she wants. IMO it's more sad that you would even ask the question, since really it's none of your business who she likes or dates. She may be your g/f but you have no right to judge her like that.
For me understanding this is pivotal in the understanding of other things related to intercultural relations, such as why white guys tend to think that if they can't get a white girl, they would find non-white girls easier. Why it is seen for black men as a step up to date a white girl. Why most asians tend to shun everyone else. ETC.
Not Singaporean. If it were, it would not be enough of a distinction to bother giving it a label. It would be as absurd as a Nottinghammer getting upset for being mistaken as Welsh.
When I encounter that kind of person, I immediately cast them away as completely unworthwhile of my time to consider as a human being. It's her prerogative, that's fine. But as for my opinion of her: trash in, trash out, and the sooner you get rid of the trash, the better.
Just like black guys who as soon as they get a little bit of money, they dump the black girlfriend and find a white one. Trash.

I know what you mean...those kind of guys make me laugh. Not just filipinos and Indians, but silly white kids from the 'burbs. I always think of Offspring's 'Pretty Fly for a White Guy' tune. But it applies to all posers, wannabe's...etc.
But back to the Original Topic...if an asian girl wants to date those who aren't of her racial background for various reasons, so be it. Free country, she can do whatever she wants....get over it.

I guess that when you are worshipped as an all knowing, all seeing, omnipotent entity by a large portion of humanity, you tend to get an ego complex, and think that everything is about you.

Its a strange dilema for sure. I am one of those asian guys who grew up here in the 80's and never felt like I fit in. Not only did asian girls-but some asian guys wouldn't even befriend me. I discovered this in highschool starting at age 13. I struggled to find myself and had suffered low self esteem. Things changed by the time I attended college, as I found plenty of misfits like myself. Years later, I heared many former highschool bananna women fallen into horrible relationships, divorce or seperation. Its not surprizing I see that many asian girls and women are behaving the same way today...pretty much stating they prefer white guys and excluding asian men. I have no advice for them. But they will discover whats wrong with this attitude when these women become mothers. I myself am in my early 40's and I must confess I still have times of self confidence - but on the other hand, I have met many wonderful SP's. LOL!
