That only applies to Chinese (especially) and Viet girls, who like to wear the pants. Oh no, you can't tell these girls what to do. They'll boss you around if you're fat or lazy. "Get to work you lazy bum, you don't make enough money". "Get a second job". "Lose weight you fat ass". "I control the bank account". You get the drill.

Koreans and Japanese let the man run things. Totally the opposite.

The only advantage of the Chinese girl is, if you're truly a workaholic, she won't have a problem with you. You want to work 14 hour days, spend all your time at the office? She'll never whine that you don't spend enough time with her if you're spending your time working. My brother married a white girl. He has a serious career and he brings home $300k per year. He bought her a new BMW, they live in a 8000 sq foot house, and she doesn't work. He put her through her undergrad, masters degree and her PhD in Women's Studies. Unfortunately money doesn't grow on trees, he has to put in 12 hour days to make that kind of money. What does she do? Whine that he doesn't spend enough time with her, this after getting all those things any girl would be happy to have, a life of comfort and never have to worry about money or her retirement. And he's the most loyal, faithful guy, typical skinny Asian guy, polite and conservative. She's got a big ass now and loves to eat, and eats expensive "organic" food only.

I'm telling you the good ones are all gone by age 28 after that its more baggage than a Samsonite factory. This applies to men and women. Have you ever met a great catch past 28? Neither have I.
All the Chinese men I know want a Japanese wife, maybe some are pervs like me who watch Japanese porn I don't know but that country has lots of man men wanting their women. Korea not so much with the newer generation.

I would have to say it is more complex and nuanced than this... and I'm speaking with experience with an Asian SO from one of the fore-mentioned countries, who is highly educated, has held senior level positions, and was a rising star in her country before we married. Okay, things aren't particularly peachy in some areas of our relationship, which is why I'm on this board, but I will say that she is happy for me to lead and 'wear the pants' where she is in agreement with my viewpoint and thoughts. Where she isn't, then we have a power struggle. And I can tell you that with years living in poverty while I worked on a doctorate, she rarely complained about our financial situation (or that I wasn't earning enough), although neither of us liked the situation. So, YMMV. It also depends on the individual.
