I love it here, and I wouldn't live anywhere else (certainly not in Canada). I love visiting the US, and doing the odd tropical vacation but Vancouver has my perfect weather - I don't mind rain; having lived in the Prairies as a kid, I hate winter!
The economy? We have our ebb and flow. I miss the Cdn dollar being at par with the US, so I don't find border crossing as interesting as I once did, but that's not Vancouver's fault. I have no shame about not owning a place and hope my landlord lets me rent forever LOL
I've met some really great people here but I think my social needs are rather minimal. A few quality friends, and I'm good!
