Are tattoos a deal breaker for you?

I'm 55 and I do not have any tattoos or piercings. It has never appealed to me personally. I am an average, boring guy and I like to keep a low profile.

But I have to admit that I find myself aroused by many of the models on the Suicide Girls website.

I do not mind tattoos on smooth, pale, young skin, as long as the artwork is attractive and colourful. A lot of the women have an edgy, bad-girl vibe that I find strangely alluring. Many of them have dyed hair (blue, green, purple) and for some reason that turns me on too.

But I also have to agree that tattoos can be a big turn-off if they are excessive, dark, oddly located and poorly done, especially on ageing skin. It makes a lot of women look rough or trashy.

I've never been bothered by tats., though I've had girls look at certain scars of mine in disgust... ironically the same girls had tats of their own, some even trying to cover up their tummy tucks or c-sections with tattoos, but a surgical scar due to a tumor removal on my abdomen bothered some of them.
Some women love the scars....others don't.
I have so many parts of me look like a road map of Alberta, and I wear some with honour, from various battles or conflicts.
I find when a woman really wants to breed....some will shy away from that pretty boy, and start sniffing around a seasoned war horse.

Well in my case I'm super limited to the gals I see not just because of a tumor I removed 2 decades ago, but in the last couple of years my diabetes defeated a part of me and it cost me part of a limb.. so I am now an amputee. It makes it that much more difficult for me to reach out to some gals, but I have a good prosthetic and most SP's are generally OK with me. I'm just pointing out the irony of some girls in tattoos having been bothered by my scars despite their tattoos to cover up crazier scars than my own (missing limb aside) ;p

I'm not sure where I draw the Line...

Although Tat's above the Neckline, definitely fall into the extreme zone !
We all have to feel comfortable in our own Skin, whatever that version is .
Like everything in Life, things seem more appealing when They're shiny, and new .

Not sure if Tatties age as well as Wine, Whiskey, or Tequila ?

Cheers
Then there's this lovely gal, how good tattoos look later in life are based on all sorts of things including health, fitness and genetics.

I'm not a tattoo guy, I don't think they make a lady more attractive but at the same token they don't make her less attractive. I like to see the person at face value and turn a blind eye to the tats. My only dislike with tattoos is the attention they attract. I used to frequent a lady who had full sleeve tats, side shaved haircut and her hair was often multi colored. An incredible lady to spend time with so I turned a blind eye to her artwork and funky hair, until I took her out for a lunch date. She attracted a lot of attention from other patrons of the restaurant which was a little uncomfortable, especially being 15 years her senior.

I’m in my late 50’s, so when I was growing up it was very rare to see tattoos being displayed in public, even by men. I am sure there were people that had them, but there definitely was a stereotype about people that displayed them in public as being the bad boy, biker, gangster type. Nowadays, it seems to be very trendy, especially for young woman. I have no problem with it, to each their own. I have never had a desire to get one, but I love to talk to people who do, because most people have a story, or a deeper meaning behind why they have it and I find it quite interesting. Some of them can look very sexy on woman. My daughter doesn’t have any, but my son has lots, and every one of them has a personal story behind it.

Agreed, tats used to have a stereotype and often denoted prison or military. All that has changed and discrete tats can be fun to explore. I know one person with a frog tat and it's a turn on to see the frog jumping!

I am not a tattoo guy at all. Everything else being equal, I would go with a non-tattooed girl. But that doesn’t mean I got anything against them. I have met some awesome girls with (and without) tattoos. As recently as three days ago I saw Dani and she has to be the most tattooed girl I’ve ever been with. Skyler is tattooed and she is one of my ATF.

In terms of SP’s it’s the attitude and not the tattoos that make any difference.

Ladies if you have one its just my 2 cents on the appearance of tats not the person. I still have a hard time wondering how it makes any woman prettier or sexier. I am in Tijuana right now and so many ladies in the bars have these things. I find it hard to fathom why any woman would pay to someone draw on them. I hope this trend stops its an eyesore. I would call it graffiti if you will. I cant be PC at all.

Sorry that has happened to you. I've had a huge surgical scar for decades. Not one woman, SP or civvie, has ever even mentioned it.

I have numerous large scars all over my body, obvious skin grafts, and I have many times been asked what happened...but never in a judgmental way by an SP, more like 'what happened to you', out of curiosity.

That's understandable, if it's in a scenario where after we did the deed and we're laying together
she starts asking me, "So what happened here?"... but I'm talking about part way into when we're making out, taking off our clothes and then the SP pausing and even looking shocked and asking how did I get the specific scar. I wouldn't ask an SP if the tattoos she got below her naval area were done to cover a C-Section or her Lipo Scars, and especially not part way into when we're getting disrobed and making out.

I know how you meant it, and feel badly for you.
Just sharing my experience with you and others.

Goodness, reading this thread one could come away with the impression that PERB is host to a bunch of scar-covered wretches (including me). I guess it just means that some of us are old enough to have experienced both the ups and the downs of life.

I have one very tiny tattoo. It was done many years ago, not for decoration but as a marker for a medical procedure. It's so small that I had forgotten its existence, until not so long ago a rub-and-tug lady noticed it and asked about it. It was kind of funny - I had to think for a minute to remember why I had it. Her question wasn't mean or rude. She was simply curious, and since she had me naked on her table the question didn't seem out of line.

I hope the tattoo fad will fade with time. People will get sick of everyone having tattoos everywhere, then it will be cool and trendy to be natural.
So many gorgeous women have ruined their beauty with ink. A few tats are OK.. too many is too much IMO

deal breaker? maybe

I love tattoos on beautiful women, but the tattoos need to be quality original art. Ink that looks like it was executed in prison is a definite turn off.
