I think the matches we witnessed yesterday and this morning were the best ones in the tournament.

I dont think the Final can match upto the drama, especially when Chelsea and Munich have their defenders suspended. Any thoughts?

I know right, but I'm glad it wasn't Barcelona versus Real Madrid. El Clasico is enough and they have too much drama. Even though I was cheering for Barca, Chelsea played very well (with ten men too!) and deserved to go through. I like Drogba, so it's all good. It would have been interesting to see Mourinho go up against Chelsea in the final, however, Madrid is full of chokers. Ronaldo (albeit he had 2 goals in the game already), Kaka (too bad I like his style), and Sergio Ramos (don't like this dirty right back). Did you see Pepe play? Man that guy is the dirtiest; better actor than player.

I will enjoy the final regardless. Now, I'm waiting for April 30 when my team ManUtd take on ManCity.

Kudos to FC Chelsea for beating my favorite team Barca and making it to the finals. They surely played with a lot of heart. Chelsea might be one of the best teams in professional sports money can buy but they seem to be on to something special. The Russian billionaire owner will finally be happy. I hope FC Chelsea wins against the hometown Munich crowd.

I was watching Chelsea vs Barca. Unbealiveable , Chelsea was lucky but sometimes you have to be good to be lucky.
In the final I'll pick Bayern over Chelsea.

I want Chelsea to win the Final just because I want to see them in CL next year with probably 100 million worth of new players ;)

But I was super sad to see my fav team Barca go :( Although Real`s knockout somewhat assuaged the pain :)

Watched both matches this week. Props to Chelsea for coming back after losing that idiot Terry. So glad he'll be sitting out the final. I'm a United fan so obviously going for Bayern. Use to like Torres when he played for Liverpool. Not so much since his move to Chelsea but good for him for finally doing what he seemed to do just about every game for Liverpool.

The Champions League Final has really picked up steam in Edmonton the past few years expecially since they moved it to Saturdays. Watched the Barca/Man United game last year at an English pub and it was full 3 hours before the game started.

Disappointed that Manchester United will not be in the finals this year but this is a good match up. Next to United i like Bayern Munich and like any Man U fan probably a little hate on for Chelsea. Glad to see Madrid out yet again and i agree Ronaldo or EUROGREASE as some call him is a bit of a choker. His hotdogging almost cost Man U the Champions League title a couple of years ago when he missed a shot during penalty kicks against Chelsea.

Nice to see soccer getting more attention, it is a great game when played at a high level.

Watching soccer is boring as hell. I need to have a few beers to enjoy it (somewhat). Maybe if the field wasn't as big and the nets were smaller it would be more enjoyable to watch. The majority of the players are overpaid divas, ie Cristiano Rinaldo.

Kudos to Man City for winning their first Premier League Title since 1968. After pouring in 600 million euros during the last 4 years, the trophy team of Abu Dhabi's Royalty finally delivers. ;)

guess I was wrong about Balotelli. He made a nice pass to Aguero for the winning goal.

that whole scenario to finish the Premiership was another example of how sports can defy logic&reason.

Man city losing to 10-man QPR would've been a HUGE upset, ppl would've been screaming "Choke!"
looked like Man U clinched it(for about 2 minutes)then,City gets TWO in injury time.

that script would get tossed in Hollywood as being too far-fetched.

the season had different ebbs&flows,eg City early leaders by a bunch, then United roared to an 8 pt. lead,
even Mancini said it was over, then the late surge by City.....incredible,except in sports.

re the original thread was Champions League.Bayern Munich gets to play in their home stadium,
Chelsea have several guys out cuz of yellow cards,it'll be tough for the Blues, imo.

I'll pick Bayern Munich over Chelsea because Chelsea is missing some key players and there is Home field advantage.
I'm also Totenham fan and I don't want Chelsea to win
