I'm looking at getting a Restricted Firearms: Possession & Acquisition license, and wonder if there's anybody here who can tell me what to expect.

That's potentially a little more complication and will attract attention - forms to fill out, interviews to attend, justification to conceal to be provided - and if you have a record of any type - forget it..."permit to carry a concealed restricted firearm."
