Any reasons why ppl don't use this forum for reviews but the autocratic one whose name we cannot even say here?

I wonder why ppl don't use this website, Perb, for reviews but another one whose name we cannot even say here?

On that forum, you post any negative reviews about SPs, they will be deleted or at least modified by mods and locked.

By SPs I mean those who pay the forum for ads, not indies on LeoList.

Their behavior is understandable. It is their income, of course they won't let you say anything bad about their clients, otherwise they will stop paying.

But they are actually proud of it, seeing it something making their website unique.

It is interesting ppl are willing to endure this dictatorship.

That site has always been that way. I would love to see our Calgary and Edmonton forums get active again. We welcome all here and do not play favorites. We will not delete bad reviews, so long as they are honest and respectful.

We don't allow them to be mentioned because we don't want to become the kind of board that spends its time attacking others. I could list a host of issues they have had over the years, but it won't accomplish anything and we want to stay above that kind of discourse. There are other boards across the country that spend an inordinate amount of time complaining about TERB, PERB and others. They are filled with negative people posting negative things and are just nasty most of the time. Suffice to say, it's gone on long enough that they are highly unlikely to change. More power to them, in the meantime, please do post and get involved here. I am going to close this up, so it doesn't become a thread to mudsling in.
