Money don't buy you happiness.I just don’t get it.
They were both super successful and rich.
Everyone knows money doesnt buy happiness. The richer you are the more work and business you have to tend. The richer you r, the more you are in debt. Even donald trump once looked at a homeless peraon and turned to ivanka n said that guys richer than me. How so? Well he wasnt in 900 million debt.Money don't buy you happiness.
If you dig a bit, Anthony had a history of depression.
We don't need more new drugs that get pushed through the FDA despite reports of permanent negative side effects. We need better & more immediate access to appropriate treatment & early intervention.I found this article on Reuters discussing depression and medications. Turns out insurers are not keen to fund new research on anti depressants. 140 new drugs with 39 awaiting trials for lack of funding. Mental Health is apparently not popular these days.
Meanwhile suicide rates have jumped 30% in 20 years.
Not sure if Bourdain was on medication but one thing that jumped out is the negative effect of consuming large amounts of alcoholic with antidepressants. Toxic and dangerous mix.

Most of the drugs available now were designed in 1990's for substance control addictions to nicotine etc. New drugs = new research. We don't need more new drugs that get pushed through the FDA despite reports of permanent negative side effects. Agree on all points. People must remember the drugs are a bandaid at best.BBB I have had two friends kill themselves who were fine on medication.
In both cases they went out with "friends" and ended up drinking, then died.
Medication does work wonders but it has to be very tightly controlled.
Anyone who suffers should get help. Don't feel embarrased or ashamed.
And Avicii. Being adored by the masses isn't a measure for happiness either. The suicides of Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade this week are a reminder: No matter how successful, wealthy or seemingly happy you are, we all battle our own demons.
I don't think people really care much, with the population of the planet growing day by day, suicides probably aren't a big worry to most people. It's not like we have a shortage of people.I found this article on Reuters discussing depression and medications. It makes a big difference if you care about someone and love them.I don't think people really care much, with the population of the planet growing day by day, suicides probably aren't a big worry to most people. It's not like we have a shortage of people.
