I wonder if any of you that use Amazon to order things. have noticed the same product, sold at different prices. Just like the stock market, buy low, sell high. Creating inflation for the average person, and putting alot of things out of range due to price increases of many common products. In some cases 4X to 7X the original price amount.

So I have to wonder if some people buy 2 of the same thing if they only need 1. And sell the other one at 5X the price later on; to pay for both items? IN essence getting both for free, when the 2nd piece is sold.

The expensive items are listed by resellers hoping either for a misclick or a bot selecting them without human involvement. You have to note who the seller is and sometimes it's just "fulfilled" by Amazon.

Unless my local hardware store doesn't have it, I will try big box stores, like homedepot but as a last resort will shop on amazon but that is rare for me.
