Ad posting tips for SPs

I've branded myself very carefully and my marketing is directed specifically at the type of gent I want contacting me. I know it's working because I'm compatible with the gents who visit, my inbox is continuously receiving messages & the number of negative experiences I've had is minimal.

Tailoring your marketing style to achieve this sort of success does take time however.

One other thing I've learned is that many gents don't read the complete advertisement, or the whole website, and even when they do they still want confirmation or clarification of the information they did read. I've made numerous changes to my site as I've learned things, including removal of the "menu" long ago. Gents either read my reviews or contact me for more detailed information regarding services and restrictions. This type of initial communication sets the ground work for a successful meeting, because boundaries are clarified, rates are confirmed, and there's usually time for some friendly banter & flirting.

Happy hobbying everyone :)
What do you mean MEN don't READ full advertisement...?! We also don't read the instruction manuals on putting things together or stop and ask for directions when we are lost! Lol!

Men getting lost... that never happens, so why would we need to stop and ask for directions. We just go the scenic route or on an extended diversion :)

I think many of the ladies have made their point well... that their advertisements also acts as a screening device to discourage some of those who are not their preferred market of demographic. So, kudos to them. Playful Alex has also adroitly made the observation that the OP may just be lazy (attribute that could describe many of us) and the information is there if we bother to read (that is also a shortcoming of the educated who think they know better...). I suspect that is a common problem not only experienced by SP's (I know I do in my profession). We can state what we would ideally like to see in adverts, but that is our opinion, and we should let SPs run their business in whatever way works best for them. We aren't in the business and shouldn't assume we know better. Some humility is in order (hmmm. not a trait I'm particularly renowned for).

Some of us just plain and simple have to keep as low of profile as possible and no amount of money changes that. The female body varies greatly and it's easy for one ad showing your figure and where your located to scream "this is _____ " to any ex boyfriend, mother, possibly employer etc. It doesn't take a scientist to look at a pic and notice, oh that figure, that hair, that's so and so. Next thing your destroying your grandparents when your ex sends them a link to your website, your reputation, your career and end up on Thedirty.com. Just because we are not ashamed of what we do and love it doesn't mean it might not hurt other people or be detrimental to our future to have ourselves associated with escorting to the entire world. Were normal girls who want careers, a family, possibly to adopt a child. These are the types of things I think about when advertising. Not how much more $ I would have if I posted better pics. I mean I think about it but one out ways the other. I've definitely been showing a tiny bit more in my ads as I get older and less insecure in my choice to escort but it is why I had to lose my website and better pics etc which SUCKS but had to be done to try and keep myself protected from the people who would want to hurt me because of this choice.

The internet is forever and anyone can view these sites. Cruising escort ads is pretty much a hobby for people these days, you never know who might be looking around. I've been able to notice girls that I barely knew on sites before. It's not the safest thing to do in the world.

I definitely envy the girls who can have the best websites and pics showing themselves and be out to the world, but that's just not the reality for a lot of good providers. I get why it's better business practice and better for the clients but it's not always best for us. There is a lot more important things then money. Luckily us good girls can make enough money to not have to invest much in advertising. Another benefit of this job.
Some people just get it...

Obviously I take the side of the SP's discretion and privacy on this matter. It is quite bothersome that some guys just don't get it and with their hard earned dollars comes the entitlement to have information that may be damaging to an SP down the road. Sure I was accused of being a "handler" LAWLS and a "lapdog" Bigger LAWLS in this thread but these guys really have to give their heads a shake. Seriously, they could give a shit about anyone but themselves.

I figure if the information is not available in the ad or on the website that an email or phone call should clear up any details that are not abundantly clear to even the most casual observer.

Should the information not be readily available or is not shared once they have contacted the SP in question; they should really just move on. Pressing for face pics or a detailed menu is just wrong.

The part I find interesting is that if you look the history of the poster you allude to, there are a lot of pretty poor sounding experiences. Whereas it seems like yours are almost always pretty positive. Hmmmm.
Quite true actually Chest. If I look at my pooning career with probably well let's just say "a lot of dates", I can safely count on one hand the number that were not great. If you are positive, have a smile on your face and just want to have fun it goes a long long way. Whereas if you are treating the SP like she has a menu stapled to her forehead and you want to check off all the items like a Chinese Menu then the experience should be and usually is quite negative.

One thing that kind of bothers me, is ads that don't have a donation. What's worse, is that I've noticed a few newer SP's (even here) seemingly have neglected to put it on their website as well. Seems like the Sp is giving themselves extra work by having to answer emails about donations.
My guess is that for some of them it's intentional that they don't have it listed anywhere. That way they can tailor the rate to the circumstances (ie. it's the end of the night and they just want to make a few bucks vs. they don't want to see a lot of guys that day).

Surely we can all agree about photshopping and fake pics being a no-no. (I have lost count how many times I've seen a picture of Bollywood mega star Aishwarya Rai's face in an Indo-Canadian SP ad).

That might just mean the rate varies according to what services and how much time you're booking.

different ladies have different motivations
maybe the more fly by night ones do what you are guessing but
i know at least two other motivations that reputable ladies use
That's why I said that was my guess for some of them. I'm positive that different SPs have different reasons for exactly what they do and don't include in their ads.

my point was that whatever the myriad of reasons n SP has for advertising in a particular fashion......
this discussion is extraneous
How is this extraneous? Discussing the possible reasons why SPs may advertise in the fashion that they do helps lead to better understanding amongst the rest of us about why they may not include certain things in their ads. This discussion may lead to the guys making better informed decisions about which SPs to see, and may lead to SPs making better informed decisions about how best to tailor their ads to meet their target audience (keeping in mind that the target audience will likely be different from one SP to another).

I took a 2 year perb lounge break because of the misogynist feel to most of the reviews and some of the threads. I found myself coming onto advertise and ending up feeling a little angry after reading some of the posts. Life is way too short to let strangers on the internet affect my or your mood

I strongly dislike being reduced to a bunch of acronyms (so I don't list any) and blurring my face is an absolute necessity. Most people in my circle know what I do, but I don't want to be recognized walking down the street. Or get recognized by family members that don't know. I'd be so embarrassed. I have no desire to be famous.

I try to advertise to attract sweet playful gentlemen that I can have fun with. 99.9 % of the time, total success!!

A couple of suggestions; if possible the provider can post the time frame she is available for that day ie. 2pm to 6pm. Also if they know their schedule for the next few days list the hours available for those said days. Posting measurements is helpful. Thanks for listening.

*sigh* in a perfect world the OP would be able to drive down a street and view the women first, and then roll down his window to discuss the price and 'menu' face to face; but, that's not available is it? Also, he would need a car.

One thing I've noticed about real estate is: if the price isn't beside the picture I probably can't afford it
