Yes we have all see very beautiful women with tattoos on their chest .
Any thing from a three word f phrase to an elaborate patern in color or black ink.

I don't understand it .
And I have seen a few girl with lines tattooed on the back of their leg like stoking .I know one or more of the girls on this board have that .

And then there are the word on the back of legs or one on each cheek.
.
Of course the Strang part is . If see some one with tattoos then that how I accept them .I never knew them before they got tattoos.

I personally just not in to the trible marking thing , and as much as I think people do it to be different and stand out . Other do it to belong and be identified with a group .
.
Just never been my thing , I see every one as different and individual each with their own beauty as per say .

A design made by some one else no matter how awesome it looks , do you want one .to where it for the rest of their life .Down the road their biew might change . I realize that we all are the s of our chose in life.
from the past , the present and the future.
And tattoos definetly say what we though in the past or where you were ..

A discreet one is okay, especially if it has a personal meaning like a regimental crest or club patch on guys.
If you just get one because you are a bandwagon jumper then no.
So many beautiful women have gone overboard with them. They start with one, then another, then a sleeve...then a backpack...then a sleeve on their legs...
More is not better.

A few celebrities are bucking the fad and having theirs removed. That gives me hope.

Feel the same way about breast implants being overdone as well.... I'm just glad I missed out on the whole ink thing, seeing how stuff slides south as I age.......it wouldn't be pretty.

Peace

A friend was just talking to me about that. "Imagine that tattoo faded, and warped from stretching on the body of an old man/woman. That's how it'll appear on your own body eventually." I do find it hilarious that the process of removal is miles more expensive, time consuming, and painful that adding them.

Tattoos are like Public Art. Not everyone likes what they see, but men who love art love a girl who has been inked professionally and with some unique imagery. I find the barbwire thing boring but like a girl who get's interesting ink where the sun doesn't usually shine. But if they brand themselves with a Guy's name, it is kind of a distraction.

I like boobs but I don't like blue boobs, no chest tattoos for me. Looks somewhat disgusting IMO

Yeah, I'm older, but I just don't get it. Maybe a small discreet tat, but the body work is awful - and definitely body art is a fad which will wear out and then these beautiful girls will be left with hideous reminders of a bygone era - remember piercings? They are now out of fashion.

Umm because they want to? Good thing about tatts, you can put them, whatever they may be, and whatever they may mean to that particular person, anywhere on their body that they want to...

I am not a fan of tattoos myself. The natural untouched female figure is already a piece of Rembrandt in my eyes. Any additions like tattoos, excessive piercings, excessive make-up, botox, plastic surgery, breast enlargements etc...reduces my appreciation of the body of a woman.

Why do they get tattoos anywhere?

I am a no tattoos (and while we are at it, no piercing either) guy. I mean, I don't hate them, but if a woman asked my opinion, I would discourage her from getting them. I know it is psychological but for some reason to me they seem to be ...... in the way. ha ha

Having said that, I have been with ladies who have tattoos. As long as their service, personality and attitude are great, I am willing to ignore the ink. Yasmine Love has a few and she was awesome!

My insight on tattoos if I may ....

Like a journal, each tattoo is an entry. It defines how I am currently feeling and thinking.... It takes me back to something I felt worth imprinting on the canvas ... Which in these terms is my body. A tattoo on the chest is a symbol of pride. Chest is the most important part of our body because it is very close to our heart. thanks for reading :)

That is all very well Yasmine, but then explain to me people in their twenties that have already used all of the best real estate on "their personal canvas". Is this their way of saying they don't expect to get much older? Or do they think nothing of interest will happen to them between 30 and 100?

I cannot speak on the behalf of others. IMHO, We are all unique and have our own path in life and how we choose to express ourselves is the freedom of expression. It represents the individuality of a person. Individuality allows people to have a clearer sense of who they are and where they come from. I prefer that over adhering to notions of happiness constructed by society, we are able to pursue true joy in whatever form it may take.... How do you express yourself JD?

They want them on their chests so that when their chests sag in their 40s, they'll get an "interesting" saggy tattoo.

Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
My only comment on tattoos (I have 5 smaller discrete ones, all with personal meaning to me - my daughter, my parents, my college football team) is that do you ever notice how a large number of people with $1000's worth of artwork all over their bodies, never have any money for more important things?
I walk through Osborne Village and will encounter 10 panhandlers along the way. 9/10 have numerous tattoos but no money for food or shelter.

Cheers
