So whats everyone doing on this very "special" commercial based holiday? Cuddling up with your pets? Trying to escape by going to work? Booking your favorite SP for a nice romantic romp? Or just jerking off with your tears?

Personally I've been alone for so long and never really had a Valentines date that I've long given up on this day other than to post some "love hurts" memes.

Thinking what to do with the $75 I didn't spend on roses the $50 I didn't spend on chocolates and the $200 I didn't spend on dinner and being very happy that I'm single and enjoying it:saturn:

Last thing we need is a thread filled with Sad Sackitis. It's just another day and no need to get down in the dumps over it. So suck it up all you single guys and go out and do something out of your comfort zone. Go buy a rose and walk up to someone who made your day better. If she poured your coffee, held the door for you, said something that made you smile....whatever it is. Hand them that rose and say Happy Valentine's Day, you made a difference in my life today. That's just an example but do something for someone else, the karma you get back will make you feel good! :love_heart::love_heart::love_heart::love_heart::love_heart::love_heart::love_heart::love_heart:

Make it happen boys!!!!
Well said!

My SB is coming over tonight after her shift is done where she works.
Tomorrow after a nice breakfast we are going skiing at Big White.
Then we are cooking dinner together at my place. Her favorite dinner is Chicken and pasta with a salad.
Wednesday morning breakfast again before I head off to my 10 am meeting.
She does not want flowers she told me.

I'm gonna spend my day counting my lucky stars that I didn't give away my freedom and get suckered into an unequal legal binding relationship.

FYI for those younger guys pining away for your "special one", trust me...after your mid 30s, it'll go away. About the same time when your testosterone production ramps down.

Just work on the things that bring value to your life and make you happy and engaged.

What he said.
And budgeting 5k per month to see the gals is way cheaper than being married.
Don't believe me?
Ask my divorce lawyer lol

Don't assume that the lonely bachelors are the only ones that hate Valentine's Day. Let me tell you; there is NOTHING that sours a day 'dedicated to love' like getting served with divorce papers! On a related note: I'm celebrating the 20th anniversary of my first divorce this year! We were young & foolish: well, I was young, he was foolish, obviously! ;D
