A quick review of a "new" girl

So..I called one of my usual favourite MP's tonight and the person that answered the phone says that they have a "new" girl. I was told that she's in her 20's and quite new to the business.

I get ready and drive down to the studio. I go ahead and meet the "new" girl. After a couple of basic menu questions (which she doesn't do), I then asked if she had worked in the business before and she replied "yes"...I worked at Studio X for 6 years. I had a feeling that she wasn't new....and she looked more in her 30's then her 20's.

My point...is there some kind of way that a girl could honestly represent her years in the business. Yes, girls do move around from MP to MP...but it's not fair if a new MP tells potential clients that this girls "new" when she's been in the business for years. I had asked the girl (aka manager) on the phone if this new girl had worked anywheres else and she had said "no", I then made the mistake of "assuming" that she was 100% new to the industry.

Any suggestions on how a guy can't get "taken in" by such a misrepresentation.

Between the legs of a HOT SP!!
You should have asked if she is "new to the studio or new to the industry".

Seems easy enough to me, just be upfront and ask what you would like to know and they should advise accordingly. The problem is on your end, you assumed and heard what you wanted to hear and then you felt that you were taken. Don't assume, always ask politely and you usually get what you ask.

Some people will mislead you, that is life, and it happens everywhere you turn. Why should an MP be different? If you wanna play the game, you gotta pay the piper at some point.

Also, not really a review of a "new girl" as it is a rant about feeling you were taken somehow.

It is a crap shoot:

You could get a really open gal who hasn't been soured by the industry

OR

You could get someone who really doesn't know what to do

Obviously the prior is preferred over the latter. :)

To reply to both of the previous posts:

New to means new to the "industry".....yes, a girls new to a studio, but if she's been the circuit for 6 years, then say so. Some guys might be looking for a girl that moved from studio to another (and lost track of her), while other guys just want to see a new face.
