Back in the early 70's when I first started running, the big craze was the Nike Waffle Trainer. Before that time there was hardly any speciality shoes for running. I remember using a product called Shoo-Goo to build up the sole in areas where I tended to wear it down faster. You could even have these shoes re-soled. It was not really a good idea as by the time you needed this the shoe had already started to break down from wear and it might lead to injury. But, Nike has come a long way, baby, and brought Apple along for the ride.

Then Nike has provided a web site to download your running records and upload music to be transferred to your iPod for listening while running. I do not pretend to understand much of this, but someone here might care.
