It is hard to believe, 40 years of Star Trek. I really don't have any favourite episodes or movies because I have enjoyed them all.

I have lots of great Star Trek memories but the best for me far and away was the 2 part Enterprise episode "In a Mirror, Darkly" in which we see all of the characters in a parallel universe. They are all evil back stabbers (some literally). It had a different opening, dark theme music etc.

When I started watching the first few minutes, I could not have been more surprised if someone had slipped me some acid unawares. It was a classic.
That was quite possibly the best Trek I've ever seen. (and I've watched every series and movie). Too bad it came at a time when almost no one was watching. The actors got to show off their versatility in going totally against character.
OS: Doomsday Machine was my favorite at the time I first saw it and it still is.
TNG: Picard as Loqutis
DS9: the EP with the Tribbles
Voyager: the first EP that introduced 7of9.

The original Star Trek was obviously the best over all, excluding the movies (All of which were bad through out the series). I've never gotten tired of them...

Best Episode (s): Dealer's choice they are all good.
Best Character: Spock with Kirk being a close second...
Most shaggable babe: Joan Collins, Teri Garr, Diana Ewing

TNG was probably a close second. The series started off weak, and didn't really hit its stride to till the end of the 2nd season, then tailed off big time at the begining of the 5th season. The show just got far to preachy at the point, and everyone was getting pretty tired. Any of the early to middle episodes that featured Data were often my favorites, but none the latter ones.

Best Episode (s): Darmok, QPid, The Inner Light, Kamala
Best Character: Data of course and Picard a close second.
Most shaggable babe: Were all guests. Madchen Amick, Ashely Judd, and
Famke Janssen.

DS9 didn't really hit it's stride till the end, but a war will do that.

Best Episode (s): Not sure about that...
Best Character: Odo and Garek
Most shaggable babe: Terry Farrell , Nicole deBoer

Voyager also started slowly, and slowly got better as Capt. Janeway's hair got less rigid...

Best Episode (s): I'll let you choose...
Best Character: The Doctor (Robert Picardo)
Most shaggable babe: Jeri Ryan (Of course) and Jennifer Lien

Enterprise was kind of the lame duck of the series and was cancelled after only 4 seasons. (Personally I blame it on the lame theme song) The show started off lame, got lamer with the Xindi conflict, then started to make some ground. I also had a hard time seeing Scott Bakula as anything other than Samuel Beckett (Where was Al when Enterprise could have used him?)

Best Episode (s): Anything after the Xindi conflict.
Best Character: Archer, T'Pol, Hoshi (I've got an especiallly big Universal Translator for her)
Most shaggable babe: Linda Park, Jolene Blalock

Favorite Star Trek Hmmm gotta be Original cast!

The Original Television Series

"The Cage" Pilot Episode with Jeffery Hunter as Captain Christopher Pike (Not Will Shatner as James Kirk!)

"The Enterprise Incident" The one where the Enterprise steals a cloaking device from a Romulan fleet  Kirk as a Romulan :D

"Trouble with Tribbles" The furry things that purr meet hated Klingons and hiss (need I elaborate?)

"Balance of Terror" Invisible Romulan vs Enterprise in space meets sub-movie feeling

"Mirror, Mirror" Alternate Evil Universe Episode

"A Piece of The Action" Kirk, Spock and McCoy become 30's Gangsters ("Get em' Spocko!" :D ) to quell a planetary dipute/gangwar?

"Friday's Child" Episode with huge warrior dudes split between alliance with Feds or Klingons (Scotty even faces off with a Klingons ship, IN COMMAND!)

"Space Seed" Episode where Khan Noonian Singh first emerges (returns in STII:"The Wrath of Khan")

Star Trek Original Movies

ST: The Motion Picture

Although slow paced it is visually stunning, especially the cloud squence

ST II: The Wrath of Khan

Incredible space battles between U.S.S. Enterprise and Reliant  Ricardo Moltaban's over the top Khan, and Shatner's infamous KHHHAAAAAANNNNNNNN!!!!!!! scream :D

ST VI: The Undiscovered Country

Cool conspiracy plot  and best Star Trek space battle EVER at the end of the movie, U.S.S. Enterprise (Kirk) and Excelsior (Sulu) defeat the Klingon Bird-of-Prey that can fire while cloaked!, under the command of General Chang (CHRIS PLUMMER! He's a GOOD actor!) to save the day :)

I'm even more astoundingly shocked at the number of pooners here who are Trekkies! ;)

I'd have done Tasha Yar and Deanna Troi.

TOS: well it was the 60's and there wasn't much of a budget for the show. Setting that aside there were several great episodes and some so bad that they were actually pretty decent. Case in point, where Spock's brain is stolen. Talk about hilarious!

TNG: a horrible first season, but steadily developed into a fine program. Loved the political intrigue between the Federation and the Klingon Empire.

DS9: the best of the lot, especially once the Dominion became the focal point of the series.

Voyager: improved with each passing season. Gratutious titty shots of 7 of 9 made for many good laughs.

Enterprise: not a bad series afterall. What hurt it was it coming after so long. When one thinks of it, there had been a Star Trek series on tv since 1987.

As for the movies, I think Star Trek:The Motion Picture is underrated and the best is the Wrath of Khan. The Voyage Home sucked as did the one with Spock's brother looking for god. The TNG movies are somewhat better, however First Contact revamped the entire timeline of the genre. Originally Ephram Cochrane was from Alpha Centuri, not Earth. Anyhow the Star Trek phenomenon has run its course and it's time to stop making movies or another series for a good long time.

I, Mudd

I am surprised that a board full of pooners would not have given Harcourt Fenton (Harry) Mudd more attention..esp those of you with your own Stella. 'I, Mudd' was one of my favourite episodes.

He was the best recurring guest character of the original series, much like Q was the best of STNG.

After that, I stopped watching...couldn't get into DSN.

Best Assholes of Star Trek

By assholes I mean characters generally seen as bad guys and in a re-occurring role in one or more of the series. Some one else can do the movies.

5) The Duras sisters: Great tits, but they couldn't stop trying to take over the Klingon Empire. Too bad Worf passed up banging either or both of them.

4) Q: Would have ranked higher but in Voyager he mellowed and became something of a nice guy.

3) Commander Sela: Talk about Tasha Yar's opposite!

2) Weyoun: Now there was a smarmy bastard!

1) Gul Dukat: Now there was a villian a person could appreciate. Relentless, deceptive, driven, insane, and brillant. Just had a tad bit of trouble when executing his diabolical plans.

Maybe in your secret life you have a few Star Trek costumes in your closet? :D

One the best performances by any actor in any Star Trek series or movie was the woman who played his "wife". She was funny as hell!

the original...a Romulan warship destroys several federation outposts along the nuetral zone...enterprise is sent on a search and destroy and Kirk and the Romulan captain play a classic cat and mouse game which shows off Kirk's skills...

My favorite would be when the crew of the orginal series find themselves on a planet with sets from different original trek episodes and battle the crew of the Planet Express... oh... wait, that's from Futurama. :p I still enjoyed that one.

TOS: er... none really stood out. I enjoyed some of them. I only started watching from the 2nd season of TNG.

TNG: Any with Q, Borg, Scotty and the last episodes. Oh yeah, the Multiple Worf episode too.

DS9: The Tribbles epsiode, and any with huge space battles. I love it when other ships explode after 1 hit while the Defiant and any ship with main characters can take several shots before their shields fail (this goes for any space battles in the other series) but I still enjoy watching them.

Voyager: When "Murdock" (I miss the A-Team) started showing up especially in the few last episodes

Enterprise: Found it boring, except for TPol. I was waiting for Archer to do a Quantum Leap. I didn't get to watch the last few seasons since I was too busy but, again, I sort of enjoyed the last episodes with Riker and Troy.

Movies: 2 and 8 (Borg?) and Galaxy Quest (I love that they spoof the Trek universe and fans)

Sexiest Trekkie? I would go for Tpol. Even though Dax had the prettiest face, I still found her to be simple. 7 had the body but not that pretty. Jolene Blalock was the most exotic among them. Linda Park deserves an honorable mention.
