Which 'team' am i for?
If you read you can actually see i cited legislation. If the Consertives wanted to lower taxes and cut waste while not giving their buddies favourable tax breaks and basically only fucking over the poor while restricting reproductive rights then id vote for them.

Also, although you're obviously a wordsmith prone to eloquent disertations, you might look up the defintion of irony.
OK then substitute stupidity.

That's how tribes work.

The left and the right, but the left are always so virtuous about it, so their hypocrisy makes them even more foolish.
As opposed to what? Not even making any statements 'of virtue' so you can never be held accountable. These attempts to make it a 'both sides' thing are laughably poor in execution...you need better talking points.

So far its been stated Singh is just there to collect a pension and that he drives a fancy car. But the guy actually raises bills and votes for things that would help the 'little guys' which something PP McPew has never done - every bill the cons raise has bigger giveaways to coporations, like axe the tax.

Like i said, id support the cons if they had legislation i liked enough , even if it were to do with government efficiency. The only thing i can see they've proposed so far is to magically fix things someonehow with very little detail and pretty duplicitious language

But true.
I see we've gotten to the 'nah-nah nah you're the poopie head' portion of this political discourse. Maybe you could elaborate why its 'stupidity' when people don't agree with your point of view? I know it takes effort but it is kind of the point of a forum for discussion.

You're on a roll today. What's with all the self hate and projection? When you're consistently wrong and you double and triple down it's just embarrassing. I guess your life has just been one long "class struggle".
Cheer up, Trump's on his way in and Trudeau's on his way out.
You're going to be able to tell everyone how bad it is for a very long time.

Yes, Conservatives bad, NDP and Liberals good. We get it. It's not real or true but progressive talking points never are. There's always that pesky concept of reality. Left wing theory and ideology is always awesome until reality kicks in. It's a shame.
I hope the NDP keeps playing "4D chess", it's working so well that they may disappear as a federal party. As far as Trudeau goes, pretty much everybody has moved on. He's the only one that didn't get the memo.

WTF are you on about 'Self hate and projection'? Do you know what that phrase even means? What exactly am I projecting? My hatred has always been reserved for crapheads who try to exploit or harm those with less power. And no class stuggle, I've lived in mansions as a kid - just less willing to be an apologist for the ovelords like you seem to want.

Not one of your gang , especially you, have proven anything beyond thay you dont know how to discuss and debate with any kind of *supported* arguments. All I ever see from you is 'Trudeau bad.', 'Trudy fucked up'', 'The Turd', ' The mess they made' . And if someone dares question any of the catchphrases you blather, they're told to shut up because you cant formulate a counter argument thats supported by well formed reasoning.

Are you stating that you know the absolutes of everything here, that your logic is infalllible and without reproach, that you have ALL the answers? If not , then you'd welcome critique and defend your POV, so Im guessing you do see yourself in the first category. Others like you here have also told me to shut up before , how do you think its going?

The other guy used the term ' irony' incorrectly, then switched to 'stupidity' because i called you out for being a catchphrase conservative whos all about simply repeating mantras and not actually thinking on issues. Literally you dont say ' immigration is out of hand' , or 'inflation is crazy and heres what I think the governement should do about it' , or ' axe the tax is good cause it put more money in the hands of people'. Its just repeat two word name name calling and derogatory rhetoric ad nasuem from you. Why read and post anything if you're just looking for an echo chamber where everyone is in agreement with you and you're never questioned?

Also you seem wierdly obsessed with the term '4d chess' for some reason. Something going on behind the scenes?

Yes, all the Liberals need is a cool new leader and the Conservatives are toast. Maybe someone with some really snazzy socks.
Did I just see a pig fly by?
Maybe hell froze over?

Again, you Conservatives are obsessed with leaders' socks. Okay, Tarantino, we get it - no one else cares. Just go have a private wank, so it will stop you mentioning it all the time.

Apparently Jughead is now ready for an election. Perfect timing. A nice Xmas break so he can dodge any awkward questions about the timing.
The election will happen just after his pension becomes full vested.
This fool is the biggest clown in the history of Canadian politics.
If you voted NDP, it's on you. Shame.

Singh is such a predictable attention-seeking try-hard. "Look at me, everyone - I'm relevant too!"
All the Cons had to do was needle his ego a little bit, and Jagmeet's tactical discipline caved in to his FOMO.

Lol, maybe you're not from around here. Federally the NDP isn't in power. They have never been in power. They will never be in power.

But Pollywanker's literally been calling it the "NDP-Liberal government", every chance he gets, for over a year ! Are you saying he might have been bullshitting Canadians the whole time ? o_O

Because you obviously do not understand irony. You are criticizing people for having the same overreactive tribalism gland you do. That is ironic as you are just as...if not more tribal than anyone else here shows your lack of self awareness. Its ironic. doncha think?

This is absolutely not ironic

The left and the right, but the left are always so virtuous about it, so their hypocrisy makes them even more foolish.

Left and right are just political shorthand, a stereotype that the low info voters love to live by without even understanding where those terms come from or what they are supposed to represent.

This arbitrary limit to peoples' political thinking is perpetuated by the fucked-up "First-Past-The-Post" voting system we are stuck with, and by the news media which is lazy and like to dumb everything down into just two political options because it hates complexity which takes more effort to explain.

I mainly use it when I blast at people who are clearly living inside that stereotype, following the script of what they're "supposed to" be clamouring for with zero thought given to whether any of it is consistent or even makes sense. They self-select as "right" or "left", and abandon any ide of critical thinking in favour of conforming to their team identity.

I'll take first past the post anyday

otherwise we'd have the bullshit of what we have now, have had for 2 yrs, chaos

leaderless nothingness

where you're beholden to the extreme idiots like Jimmy Singh or even worse the separatists from Que

and it's hilarious that you think it's the team identity that is the problem

it's not, the average person has no interest in politics, 90-98% don't want to be bothered by it

if we had a proper system, you wouldn't even know the idiots who are MPs, MLAs, councillors (which is the case now, the average person can't name their MP, MLA, councillor, cause they don't care at all)

cause they'd do their job without notice

till a fucking clown like the Turd comes along and

totally fucks their lives up for years

all the other systems aren't better, look at Europe, anywhere they're used, it just creates other problems, like constant elections

at least what we have offers some stability, which is what is really needed for most

I'll bite: what piece of legislation did the Conservatives table in the latest sitting of parliment did you think was most notable and best served the interest of Canadians ?

And again, irony is stating something while meaning something else , like "this conversation is worthwhile".

"Irony is stating something while meaning something else".
It's ironic that you would say that.
Not as ironic as saying "The NDP is playing 4D chess. Lol. That was super ironic. The NDP is projected to win less than 30 out of 338 seats. Maybe they should try less chess and try more common sense.

I greatly value your opinion; but whats your common sense here, being suckered in by a liar whos going to dupe you so that his religious zealot buddies can call the shots from behind the curtain and encact their adgenda with zeal? How *is* is Stockwell Day doing these days?

I thought Harper was going to be the head of the far, far right Christian theocracy that would rule over Canada with an iron hand.
It would be like Handmaid's Tale on steroids.

My opinion:
They are all a bunch of wankers..

I am conservative, but we no longer have a conservative party in Canada.
What we have is merely The Canadian Alliance party disguised as the Conservative party.

Any party that uses religious arguments to form policy is not a political party, but rather, a private interest group trying to impose their will.

....article has had sections redacted by warrantless court order.
By Justice J. Taylor of the British Columbia Supreme Court.

On August 11th, 2023, Justice Michael Tammen of the Supreme Court of British Columbia dismissed my lawsuit against magistrate Grant Taylor and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Despite hearing no evidence, the judge concluded:

that I disclosed no reasonable claim

that my suit was unnecessary, scandalous, vexatious or frivolous

that I abused court process

How did the judge come to these conclusions?
Justice Michael Tammen claimed the Judiciary has absolute immunity.

https://danielnagase.substack.com/p/a-criminal-surprise

In my own experience. Travesty. Cousin's grandson incarcerated since 2001. In a crime scene with multiple DNA fragments of an undisclosed number of persons. Prosecutor involked case law that incomplete fragments of DNA couldn't be allowed as evidence. Jury wasn't allowed to know that multiple persons came and went to and from the crime scene. Only the youth's whole DNA presented as evidence. Defence lawyer didn't complain. Jury convicted the youth. Judge closed the case satisfied Court followed the law. Family didn't complain. Counciled by defence lawyer in 2001 that evidence such as PCR (polymerised chain reaction) to complete fragments of DNA and/or witnesses coming forward must be found that lead to a different person and conviction secured to release the youth.
