    I am in IT and also have friends at Rogers, Bell, Telus.... I can guarantee you that ANY data accessed can, and is, tracked. It is relatively easy to monitor with todays tools. Like you said you worked there years ago. Technology changes hourly, so "years ago" was a different world.
