I am around this age now. It really makes you think. Both gave me some great movie and music memories. RIP

The more icons in my life that die, the more I feel mortality and the finiteness of it all.
There seem to be too many dying too young these days. Maybe that's how it is, maybe it's lifestyle, its so sad nonetheless.
Not to dwell on this too much, but I think I attribute that to this urgency to have as much sex as I can, until I can't.

Like two hard punches to the gut. Loved Depeche Mode for the longest time, and really enjoyed many of Ray Liotta's works, be it TV, movies, or even voice acting in video games.

My first introduction to Ray Liotta was in Something Wild. He was a great tough guy.

ray liotta was such a fascinating actor. he could be sweet and wholesome... sleazy and degenerate... unhinged.... or just a quiet thoughtful watcher (goodfellas dinner scene with Marty's mom). whatever it was itd always be charismatic.

theres a Johnathan demme flick called something wild with melanie Griffith and jeff daniels that he absolutely steals the show in. just exploded on the scene... it's an engrossing genre blend of a flick: starts like a zany odd couple sorta romantic comedy...then as it unfolds and the characters reveal more it turns into a sort of thriller. it's a high wire act that's hard to pull off but ray hands in such a detailed sorta performance that I think it's probly why it worked in the end.

he was a true talent. and a decent dude. rip
