I heard that farrah Fawcett is sufferring from cancer, but can't find anything on it. Anyone know anything?
separate from your concerns Hubba...I read an article about what she is doing on the NY Post yesterday. She is actually filming what she is going through and doesn't have long to live. You will be able to watch the whole thing if you want. I wish her luck in her battle but I will not watch her dying on TV. This is not something I need to see. I'm interested to see how others feel about this. If you've had friends or loved ones go through this, I don't think it's something you want to relive. Just my thoughts.

I agree with you, having lost a couple of loved ones myself to cancer. However, just throwing this out there, maybe she feels like telling her story can give her life some meaning or provide inspiration for others. Or maybe she's doing it to make some money, which would be forgiveable if her medical bills are huge. Who knows how much money she's spent on treatment or how much money she still has left from her heyday.I read an article about what she is doing on the NY Post yesterday. my sentiments exactly...Speaking of her heyday, here's the Farrah I want to remember. It's a little sad for us Gen-Xers that the people we idolized from our childhood are starting to pass on...

Defining generations is a fuzzy science at best, but if you will believe Time Magazine (http://www.time.com/time/arts/article/0,8599,1731528,00.html) as a source, they list Gen-X as being people born between 1965 and 1980. That would make the boys at the early end of the curve about 10-15 years old when the first run of "Charlie's Angels" came out, which means they were old enough to have the hots for Farrah and to remember this opening sequence:Brother, Farrah isn't really a Gen-X thing, more a baby boomer thing. I'm at the top end of Gen X & I was just a kid when she was it. She married the dude from 6 million dollar man or something like that and I wasn't that old when that happened.
The "Gen X" chicks prolly started around the time of Breakfast Club (the movie).
