So far they're looking a lot sharper than they did in game 2. A lot more like the team we've been seeing since Feb. Go Canucks Go!

oh oh 3-0 again :p

But I am amazed at how many people have already written the Canucks off, after ONE loss. Bjh might have a point about some Canuck fans

Awesome! I'm standing by my original prediction: Canucks in 6, then we'll get knocked out by Detroit. Of course, I'm really hoping that the second part of my prediction doesn't come true...

gritty performance by the Canucks...

no Demitra and no Salo...

that said, Chicago lost this game the Canucks didn't win it...

Chicago may rue game 3 when it is all said and done...

Chicago's fat and out of shape goaltender has to stop at least 90% of his shots one of these days...

was surprised Quenneville didn't pull his fat ass after the third goal...

doughboy has clearly been an underachiever throughout this series...

Don't underestimate the Ducks. The Ducks may be the ones advancing to the western conference final.

U did watch the Canucks game right? Fat and out of shape? He kept them in the freakin game.............geeesh.
yes Hubba, he was bombarded with a whole 21 shots...

on 21 shots, I'm surprised he didn't give up 10 or 11 goals...

can you do me a favour and figure out the rotund one's save % for the series...

One question. Have the Canucks had any well played games this year in your opinion? Or have all the wins, been either pure luck, or the other team playing poorly?

Didn't actually watch the game, did you? The Canucks shut Chicago down time and time again during the game. That's why Chicago lost, because almost every time they were able to get something going, the Canucks stepped up and took the momentum away from them.

I would be very happy if that happened. Frankly I think Detroit is the better team. I'm not totally counting out the Ducks yet, but I believe they won't make it past this round. Talk about an exciting series, though! My biggest hope is that it goes to 7 games, and the winner (probably Detroit, but I'd prefer Anaheim) ends up being exhausted for the conference final.

parts of this game vancouver was a dominant team that could challenge any other team left for the stanley cup. other times it looked like a team that could barely contain the hawks. in the end we won and right now its 2-1 us and thats where it counts. as for the other series its to early to say who would be the better team as there is still at least 3 more games to play and with how the ducks play a physical game i wouldn't be surprised if a red wing player goes down to an injury

time and time again...

Chicago amassed an entire 24 shots against Luongo...

Chicago came out flat and insipid...

they showed a little life after making in 3 - 1 but as Duncan Keith said, you can't fall behind 2 or 3 goals every game and expect to come back...

the fat goalie has to make some big saves before it is 2 or 3 nothing...

stick to reviewing SPs...

the guy is 6'1 and weighs 208 pounds how fat can he really be. and this number was probably taking at the beginning of the year so he has probably lost weight. and the guy had a 25-8-7 with a 2.33 and 919 save percentage. the guy is a good goaltender that has won before

You really didn't watch the game, did you? Chicago didn't get any more shots because the Canucks didn't let them. Chicago showed signs of life the entire game, but the Canucks kept shutting them down. Khabibulin did make some big saves, but again, the Canucks simply outplayed him and the Hawks. It's pretty sad that you can't ever admit that the Canucks played well. Somehow every single game that they've won this year has been because they got lucky, or the other team was shit, or both. Yeah, that's how you get to be the division leader.

I called it here! :)

Except the part about it being boring. Was a pretty good game and you couldn`t be bored cause we built up the dreaded 3 goal lead again and every Chicago rush, every battle in our zone was a heart wrenching cause of the potential explosiveness of the Hawks.

We gotta STOP clearing the pucks over the glass! WTF! Still too many break downs in our zone, I think we were pretty lucky. The Hawks are nuts, they can blindly throw it somewhere and 90% of the time it works out.

Hits, we need more hits... guys like Rypien are not finishing their hits on the forecheck. Granted the Hawks are pretty slippery. Can`t want for Campbell to get completely creamed. It was really obvious today how he goes out of his way to not take a hit.
