...

I said it was a gritty performance for the Canucks...

that said, Chicago blew this game and any momentum they had...

it was theirs for the taking...

Quenneville said post game, I wasn't pleased with any facet of our game...

he might of added, I wasn't pleased with how I prepared my team for this game...

to come out in front of your home crowd and garner a massive seven shots in the first period, what a joke...

height and weight have never been a good measure of fitness...

body composition is far more important...

has a reputation for being poorly conditioned...

the tubbynator has to get his save percentage over 90%...

game 4 seems like a good place to start...

Some quick obersvations . . .

The Canucks won "ugly" but they won and are better equipped for a defensive shut down game that would make Jacques Lemaire (responsible for bringing the trap to the NHL) proud.

Chicago tried to step things up in the 3rd period again but the Canucks learned their lesson from Game 2. Sometimes - it takes a loss for players to realize that adjustments are required (ie. did not learn from Game 1).

Both goalies made big stops but Vancouver played better defense as they blocked 21 shots as well.
