Well last time I checked we are not a 3rd world country and I am tired of people using the excuse of the current economic state to low ball in all honesty, If you cant afford it, dont buy it, that goes for all things, including pooning, taking what you cant afford only causes trouble. what is low ball to you? here are some numbers.

at $100/session, 3 clients a day(3.0 hrs work), 4 days a week, 47wks/year
net = $56K net - close to$90K with tax, that is 3 hrs work a day, some sessions being 1/2 hr.

at $200/session, 2 clients a day(3.0 hrs work), 4 days a week, 47wks/year
net = $75K net - close to $110K with tax, that is 3.5 hrs work a day, sessions being 1 hr.

you notice i am being very relaxed with my calculation assuming the SP enjoys their free time and they are indy.

also, i based my examples on indy SPs who do this on their own free will.
IMO, the money is pretty good for the amount of work they actually do with no education requirement. remember, it is a job, no better or worse when you factor in the various occupations out there.

yes, indy SPs can charge a lot more then what i just calculated, kind of like vancouver property value, is a bunglow on the west side really worth $1.4 million - it did last year in early spring.not anymore.

I see a few SP's out here in Surrey, a few of whom do have $100 specials. I don't really expect to much. Some of the AMP's I can get $100, but thats on top of the room fee. So here is what I usually get for $100.

But overall, $100 doesn't get much. About what I'd expect.

missed the point of the question entirely, and are trying to turn this into an arguement. you did not express in any way shape or form what you expect from a session that is an hour long either priced out by the SP or ask for by the client at 100 per hour.

I would expect to see someone that feels that $100 for an hour of their time is fair value for their current situation.

I laugh when people say there is no way someone should charge under $200 and then others say there is no way someone should charge more than $300.

The SP is the only one that needs to be comfortable with what they charge. If she feels it is fair value for their current situation then I say that is what they should charge...regardless of the number.

You're taking this personally. Its a simple business decision of yes or no. I had a vehicle I sold a few years back and was asking $15k for it. I got calls with offers of 10-12 that I declined but I didnt get offended by them. You're selling sex for whatever price you see fit. People can offer wht they like and you can decline all you want.
