Viruses being sent from email at TrueTianna.com

Just got three infected (but blocked emails) from the following address with someone who has a hate on for an ad T3 put in on an on-line classified. The originating address is info@truetianna.com.

Can someone in the Tianna camp give an explanation?

All three with viruses attached...self destructing within 30 seconds. Nice try whoever did this! My computer has been protected a long time ago so better luck next time!

If the person involved can shed some light on this...much appreciated.

I'm not pointing fingers yet but Tianna needs to know that it came from info@truetianna.com

Could very easily be that her computer got compromised? If you are all in her address book, then it can just be sending them out to everyone she knows. Very common virus activity. Unless of course, there is something very personal attached to each.

Remember though, never open an .exe or other sort of suspicious files, even if they are from people you know.

Of course, if your computer has been infected, I'd be more than glad to come over and clean it for you.....for a price

I'm not in her address book. We have never been in email contact whatsoever.

I am however pretty pissed off that I would recieve 3 virused emails from a girl I have never emailed nor ever personally contacted via email. I would like to know why these found their way to me....3 times within one evening.

It would not surprise me however if Tianna has no knowledge of this....considering the drama following the Photography 100. This comes on the heels of CLM and I posting our availability for duos.

I am lucky enough that my computer can show where the email came from and show that a virus was attached and of course I did not open it. There was no message to it...no content...just a virus.

CLM has all three copies of it.

I would like to know what's up with it.

Maybe it was from a computer at Photo 100, who, if I recall from that thread, controls the "info" email address?

Maybe not uncommon for them to add email addresses from competitors? For future emailing or marketing? Just tossing out ideas.

I guess I just figure it'd be pretty silly to send virii to a competitor with one owns email address considering how easy it is to create a free anonymous account.

I actually don't think Tianna probably....if she is anything like me...KNOWS how to send a virus to someone.

But the fact is they are all sent in her name...from her site.

I think after me having to disinfect my computer, I am OWED an explaination.

Not doubting the veracity or intelligence of anyone, but have you double checked that the originating address is actually from Tianna? As a computer geek, I know all too well how easy it is to spoof an address.

We have every reason to believe that:
1) Tianna, herself, did not send those emails;
2) We've cross-checked with software that had tried to spoof an email address to begin with. We looked behind the address it was sent from and lo and behold, info@truetianna
3) These emails came from the server of where the website is planted on.
4) Calling Tianna would do little as she would get pretty defensive over this. I've tried on another matter that just blew up.
Believe us, we've checked and double checked and consulted with someone with a business surrounding this sort of stuff.

Sarah, we understand that this appears to look like we're just jumping to conclusions however T3 and I have had our own skirmishes with P100. After II posted the warning about P100, something I knew was happening before the expose, it made a shit load of sense. Had you dissected the posts you would've seen just how much of an unethical designer this P100 really is, doing all sorts of malicious things to her own clients including posting under her clients handles on PERB and other forums and even under their email addresses. It just hasn't stopped. What kills me is that Tianna hasn't wised up to it. God only knows what P100 has told her. And they yet have to apologize for their grave indiscretion. True, everyone makes their own choices however the mill can only go so long, there are only so many people left to poon with Tianna who haven't already read the troubles with P100/Tianna and the issues of indiscretion that took up a whole weekend. Bottom line P100 is tanking Tianna's business faster than she can get new clients and sabotaging supposed competition isn't making it better for Tianna as long as P100 is around.

T3 and I don't go around carelessly damaging businesses or people without having some kind of personal experience or solid evidence to support or claims. We've both been in this industry, and have too much at stake, building our names to throw it all away.

for no particular reason but the fact that you hate how well Tianna is doing and you try to do whatever you can to sabotage her....even tho this is only gonna come back to you as people will realize you are the only two talking bad about her and always attacking both me and tianna.

She is not around , no Internet access...she is away for over a week.

her site and email are both hosted with godaddy.

theres no outgoing emails in the last few days she was away and still is.

nobody is attaching viruses to no emails ,why would one do that?
and as you mentioned she doesn't know you nor has your emails.

P100, honestly, I feel bad for Tianna here. I am sure that she is like me and doesn't even KNOW HOW to attach viruses to emails send to other girls.

I would like to know why it is then that I would have recieved these emails. I still have the copies and I forwarded them over to CLM. There just is no denying it.

The emails were sent. As P100 has compromised Tianna's account prior, of COURSE they are the first name that comes to mind when I recieved these as Tianna and I have never had an issue.

As far as calling her personally, I don't really know what good that would do as she cannot take them back now that they are sent, she probably knows nothing of HOW they were sent out and according to two very trustworthy ladies, she is very loyal to P100.

Kinda interesting the co-indidence where the same DAY (well I think they were sent at night as I woke up to these emails) that CLM and I advertise our duo availability.

I have said it before and I will say it again, P100 is taking advantage, in my opinion, of Tiannas account. If P100 can't figure out how I got 3 emails from her account last night....then something here really stinks.

As far as the way P100 talks about the girls around here (we're not busy so we need to talk about other people???? GIVE ME A BREAK!)....and outting Izzie for certain things, I think this is the most unscrupulous buisness person around. Never professional. What is this board for if we cannot make pertanant posts??? You on the other hand seem to be in the buisness P100 of slamming girls....it wasn't me sending out three emails last night...it was "someone" else".

Yeah, that's exactly it. We're not doing well business wise so we have to resort to sabotaging Tianna's business? Rrrright.

I'm raising my rates, agencies are duking it out for T3 to work for them and we're going out of business.

In case you didn't notice, we don't look anything like Tianna and I'm willing to bet that how we perform our services are different. Even if the service was identical, we still have the appearance to contend with.

Face it, MJ, you can only play the Tianna card for so long. Tianna is the victim here, not us. You alone stating that Tianna is out of town just questions how those emails came from that website. By her own admission and slightly yours, you have total access to anything Tianna-oriented marketing wise.

well, if you look at the header of an email, you can see what the originating address is, but it will be in code...so if I can get that, I might be able to trace it down...FEEL FREE TO FORWARD THE EMAIL TO ME and I will find who did it..but then I know you wouldnt even apologize to me....

These emails had been independently investigated already by two impartial parties. I just don't think it would be wise to forward the emails to you as you are the accused. I hope you understand.

People, first off, when was the last time any of you ran a mail system. I doin fact I do it for a living. And to be completely frank about it, it doesn't take anyone older than someone in elementary school to be able to use someone elses computer to send emails. Have none of you ever heard of spyware? The email address in question is hosted at a website that many of you know of, ie: Godaddy. It is possible that someone has indeed placed software on her computer that is sending out spam to other people. I would like for one of you brainiacs to explain to me how MJ would have sent those emails? Did anyone bother to look at the IP addresses of the originating messages...or is that to hard for you to figure out. I mean, you are escorts, hence you understand all there is to know about technology right? The way you guys are writing stuff, you'd think that you graduated from MIT with a Ph.d. in Computer Engineering...but chances are, I'd say that was very very far from the truth. Am I hitting a nerve yet??

And just out of curiosity, how do you know it was a virus? Is that because your antivirus software told you it was? Did you know that over half of the emails that are tagged as having a virus don't? And even more, what is in this persons email that would contain a virus? Did it have graphics in it? Was it straight text? Did it have some hidden images in it? Chances are no. In fact, I'll guarentee it.

And besides, if there was a virus in it, why was your internet provider letting the mail through? Aren't they supposed to be the ones who block stuff like that? If they let it through, chances are it's ok anyway.

What you brainiacs fail to realize, is that email is the most insecure form of communication there is. And hopefully this will scare you, if I wanted to send stuff from your computer, there are a number of ways. And believe me, in my job, I've done it before.

So here is a bit of a challenge...prove that MJ did it? Can you...and if you can, then I'll know someone else found out for you...cause I'm pretty sure you have trouble turning the computer on in the morning. There are four things that every person should have to pass an IQ test before they are allowed to do: get married, have sex, have children and own a computer. But then again, it's people like you who keep me employed.

Which ones would you fail??

T3 and I aren't just about looking after our own butts, right now we are worried about every posting pooners ass and P100s clients with MJ having full access to their accounts. That is a decidely unselfish act particularily if we sacrifice our own businesses for it.
