What are the norms around tipping (agency escorts)? It looks like the ladies set their own pricing for time/service. Is tipping automatic, only for service above what you expected, how much so as not to offend?

SPs are making $100+ (usually more like $200, sometimes even more) an hour. That's way more than what most clients are making. $0 tip unless the service offered was way above and beyond the typical expectation, or if they accommodated for something that's not included in the base rate.

Some people are naturally really generous. Some poor people will literally give you the shirt off their back if you’re cold. Some people are wealthy beyond imagination but still penny pinch.

Tipping is never expected but always loved and appreciated.

Some parlours and escort agencies have high fees and the lady might not be making as much money as you think.

Some parlours, don’t have an actual flat fee that the lady charges and she actually makes her money off of “tips”

Some independents might have a lot of really expensive over head and again aren’t taking home as much as you think. Some women are raking in the dough. Some are struggling and living hand to mouth despite looking well off.

Never judge anything by the outside appearance. It’s all an illusion.

Tip if it makes you happy. Don’t tip if it makes you happy.

Do tip if you’re in a really cheap place. Those poor girls are working hard for their money.

After the cost of advertising, room fee, websites, transportation and not to mention all the stuff we need to be aesthetically pleasing (nails, lingerie, makeup, shoes etc) and countless hours answering hundreds of texts from people just wasting your time because they don’t read our ads most of us are not taking home $200, except for maybe the girls charging $500/hr and up. Guys don’t realize how much money we actually put into this business, you have to spend money to make money and for a lot of us this isn’t a full time job. Sure some women are rolling in dough but that’s probably less than 20% of providers. As I always say, never assume anything in this business. . More often than not you’ll be wrong.

You're trying to compare employment income with running a business and that doesn’t work. This is a more accurate formula:

gross rate - 30% expenses - 20% taxes = net rate / total billable & unbillable hours including 20-30% for benefits (we’re covering our own health insurance or expenses, vacation pay, sick days, retirement contributions etc) Everyone will have their own level for unbillable hours, but mine are roughly + 2hrs per hour I book (or more). So at 500hr my net is actually $75hr plus modest benefits and I honestly think the reality is a little less than that.

And this is higher than an average paying job for sure but considering the work we do, the risks we take and lifestyle sacrifices we make in order to do this, I think it’s fair that we are paid much more than an average.. Anyway, in the end the market decides and the fact of the matter is not many people would be interested in doing sex work if it wasn’t well compensated!

Tips are not expected, but they’re nice to receive when we go above and beyond and can also help ensure VIP treatment if that’s what you’re looking for! 😘

Yes, all Canadians have to pay tax and especially if you want to qualify for a mortgage or a car payment and I have both.

I know it seems like this but always remember there is a lot of off the clock work going on behind the scenes, and a lot of expenses we pay, to make sure you have an exceptional experience! Just like Ivy said 😘
