Defense looks lights out,Sam Darnold worries me a bit but JSN seems to be making big strides. If they can win the last 2 games they get the 1st round bye and homefield advantage as far as they can go. Can they repeat 2013?

Darnold is a big Q when it comes to big games and pressure. I think he struggles also when the run game is not going and the other team's defense keys on the short passsing game. Not worried about the defense at all. Defense wins championships they say. I think we're still one season away from legitimate contender.

I do not trust Darnold. I have a feeling he will disappoint once again like last year

Nope. There really doesn't look to be any lock this year for any team.

Thought the Lions might be, but aren't. Bills aren't looking as good as they should. Bears are a surprise but who knows how they'll do in the playoffs. Jags might be a dark horse. Wouldn't surprise me if the Patriots were there.

I'm just happy to see the Chiefs and the refs out this year.

the Seahawks and 49ers are on course to meet in the last week of the season.if both win this weekend, which seems likely,1st place in the Division and #1 seed is at stake.
The 49ers could very well never have to leave the Bay area again this season...they finish with 2 home games,if they win out{very possible}have home field thru the playoffs, and SB is in their stadium.
AFC team is designated home team in odd yrs so they'd have to wear white at home(unless AFC team follows the white-jersey SB superstition
Several if's in the above to be sure....Seahawks and Rams are tough, dunno about Bears and Packers, Eagles are champs but look beatable.

AFC who knows?Buffalo has heaps of playoff experience, Patriots and Jaguars and Broncos have impressive records,Chargers and Texans might be dark horses,to me it's wide open?

Should be fun!

It's a way more fun season this year! Typically it's been "beat Brady and the Patriots" and then it was "beat Maholmes and the Chiefs (and refs)" which just sucked, but was great when it did happen. Now there are so many teams that could be going to the SB and none are really a shoe-in.

I'm typically a Steelers fan, but will happily root for a different team if my guys aren't in the playoffs (I still don't think they will go past the first round if they do make it this year).

I'm looking forward to free football on Netflix tomorrow!

Seahawks are looking A LOT like the year they demolished the Broncos in the SBC game. Darnold Meyers and Dixon plus the new look LOB have all the potential… i don’t really trust Kubiak TBH but McDonald is an amazing young HC

1st step complete kicked the Niners,2 wins away from the Super Bowl.Defense looks solid and Darold did enough to win with no turnovers.

Run game and the D won this game. In other words, the Hawks dominated in the trenches. Hopefully this was also Darnold taking the next step. He doesn't need to do it all as this game demonstrated.

Arguably the best 2 teams in the league going at it today
Winner gets #1seed and a bye, loser gets wild card,no home field playoff game despite great w-l record.
Last yr Vikings were 14-3 and wild card.
Something f...d with a system where a team can go 8-9 and hosts a playoff game and others with a much better record, are on the road

Having said that, the Seahawks looked damn good today.
If they can maintain that, they might be the team to beat?

Darnold will shit the bed in a big game. He throws way too many interceptions.
His game management against the Rams and 49-ers was excellent, I thought. These were both top tier teams. He played within his limitations. When he had to some up with a big play he did.

Unlike the Blue Jays, Hawks are not going to blow this and go to the SB. They are so clutch, its incredible.

The NFC still goes through the champs, the Eagles. I think they will rise to the challenge. As the old saying goes, defense wins championships. I think the Seahawks will be a formidable challenge. Two elite defenses in the Eagles and Seahawks.

Something is askew with the Eagles offense. Losing Kellen Moore as OC has had an impact and Saquon's production is down from last year. Hurts is very slow on his reads again. I also think man for man, the Seahawks D is playing as a more cohesive unit than the Eagles. I say the Eagles will be lucky to beat the 49ers next weekend.

Well, the 'Hawks steamrolled the 49ers tonight. Not much of a contest. That Hawks D is just stout. Next. Hoping the 'Hawks face da Bears in the NFC Championship Game next week. The Hawks are peaking at exactly the right time.
