Get rid of that big giraffe Myers.... can't even skate... he was good years ago with Buffalo but that was the peak for that guy
Have you watched Pettersson? There's a reason he's called Bambi on ice. He's the only player in the NHL that falls down regularly with no other player near him.

Oh inside they knew it. Rutherford admits to that. This team has lots of pot holes that need fixing. A lot!!! The won't make the payoffs.

Demmer is hurt. Chytil is hurt. The always injured guys are injured again. This was predictable and the management is ridiculous for not expecting it. Clearly, without these two, plus other injuries, this team will miss the playoffs by a half dozen points and end up with a shit draft pick. Again. Either fix it or tank and rebuild. Enough of the same thing and expecting different results. Ownership is ultimately to blame, the Aquilini's are the worst owners in the league. This century's Harold Ballard.

Traded Miller for guys that can’t score and expect the newbs to pick up the slack.

Brilliant.

Now they look like a random bunch of players on the ice rather than a team.

Can we fold and re-draft as an expansion team?

Adam Foote is turning out to be a terrible coach. Usual quote after a loss - “We played a good game.'

He's one of those guys who seems completely satisfied with losses, as long as he thinks they look good doing it.

I quit watching hockey after the Canucks lost to bad refs.....in the Stanley cup ....

To afford a few big names you pay outrageous prices for tickets.... Big TV contracts and advertising killed it for going to games.

If about 50% of people are at the poverty line, that is 50% of families that can't afford to go see ago see a Major Junior or Junior A game, let alone Canucks game.

Hockey is out of the running for most kids. You need well off parents unless you are a early talent.

Best Canucks so far: Kiefer Sherwood = he needs a new contract.
Pisses me off he’s on their bargain basement sale to interested teams. At best they could get a 2nd rounder who would take 2-4 years to produce results.

If Nucks don’t improve they will lose Quinn Hughes at the end of 2027. I had high hopes for this team two years ago and now it’s pretty dismal to read or watch highlights.

As much as I like Hughes, he is really one of the fastest ways for this team to get better. Get lots of assets by trading him and build around that scenario.

The thing with Quinn is that he does lack size and is starting to build up the mileage and injuries. An unfortunate fact is that teams know they can simply body him throughout the playoffs and there's no one on the team to really pushback. Kane is way past his prime, Myers refuses to play to his size, Hronik has his own injury history, and there aren't any other players to provide some deterrent to teams targeting Hughes.

This team wasted his best years, and there's no way-back machine to use to make significant changes to change that harsh reality.

I'm just hoping that in his time remaining here that he manages to teach the young guys -- Willander and DPetey, how to be better Dmen.

Most definitely but odds of getting a proper return are hindered when it's no secret he wants to end up in Jersey.

They can either stand still untill he becomes a FA or offer canucks half of what he should return.
The other problem is the guys canucks could want from a Jersey return, primarily Hischer or Mercer, Nemec are on contracts with 1yr left and 2 of the 3 have limited NT s, and honestly what players are saying let's go join the dumpster fire in Vancouver.

They shud trade him to the highest bidder, and let that team deal with Quinn's want to join Jersey.... Send him to a legit cup continder.... If he wins whose to say he doesn't wanna leave that situation.... If he ends up in NJ, he'll be takin away playin time from Luke but also, Jersey is on the outside of the playoffs too... Trading for a quinn won't put em any closer to cup contender I'd they trade are major offensive pieces.
