Do People Report Fake and Scam Ads on Various Platforms?

I’m really curious how many men and if they feel comfortable saying so, do report fake and scam ads out there. I do notice few fake and scam ads get taken down, and sadly these seem to be increasing out there, especially with AI now being used to make fake “models” with photos, videos and voice.

Many fellow providers are quite frustrated with how these have been increasing making it difficult for our legit ads to compete with the fake and scam ads, and it makes it harder for potential clients to believe we are real too. One thing I am glad to see PERB on is making sure the ads on their platform are legit.

I see a lot of men posting about scam ads and fake ads here to warn others but I wonder how many report these ads? Many of us have voiced our concerns to ad platforms with no response from them. I am wondering if more men reported fake and scam ads and made them aware or using other platforms if they would actually listen to you.

Leolist doesn't give a shit. There were a dozen ads for Feem recently, which is straight up opium/heroin according to Google and they stayed up for weeks before finally being pulled down. Their "community" flagging model means that unless a ton of people flag the ad, it's never even getting looked at. There are ads from straight up criminals like Jessica Kane that never came down. The fake little person ad has been running in some form for over a year. The latest is the ton of OF spam ads and "dating" sites that are pure phishing. Again, Leo does nothing because they are making a LOT of money from these clowns.

Tryst is marginally better, but based in Australia and has notoriously bad customer service, I see tweets on a regular basis of ladies begging Tryst to do something about stolen pics, fake ads and account issues.

I unfortunately have to agree that leolist definitely doesn't give a shit. I have reported fakes in the past and received no response and the ads were never removed.

tryst is just really under staffed for how big they’ve gotten. But they actually do care. They seem to hire people that have been in the sex trade themselves snd was started by a woman in the sex trade. Their customer service was fantastic when they first came around and took over Eros business. They need to go on a hiring spree!!!

I never even look at other ads on leolist. I just log in, bump my ads and then don’t look at leolist until i feel like bumping again.

I look at ads here on perb if I get curious about an ad that comes up in “new posts” but on leolist I just accept it’s 75 % scammers and that they don’t give a fuck and that we need a new platform.

Twice I have seen ads from scammers who have stolen pictures from women I have personally seen.
Both times I reported the ads and got no response, even after a couple of tries.
LL just don’t give a shit.

Yes I know Leo does not seem to care about the scam and fake ads as long as they make money, and have seen people on here in the past say they have seen things on there to believe Leo may be behind some of the fake and scam ads even, but I was just wondering if more people did report them they may do something.

Tryst is better but there has been more fake ads on there now too as well as AI photos. Tryst does not seem to be listening to us either, and it’s very frustrating.

I have always looked at other ads, mostly when I was new to get an idea what others posted in their ads, but sometimes I will look at ads on varying platforms out of curiosity. Sometimes if it’s on the slower side I’ll look at ads to see if maybe one reason is something with the ads themselves. I have an analytical mind so I like to analyze things to figure out answers to questions I have.

I really hope we have another platform to rival Leo because I feel the can allow their platform to go to crap and keep raising their prices because they have much of the market covered. I began doing this after backpage was a thing but it sounds like it was similar and apparently Leo was better when that was around.

Occasionally I’ll look at ads to see what others are charging (not because I care what others do but because I like to be in the middle, rates wise) or because I’m curious or because I think someone’s really pretty. But I never look at leolist ads because they’re mostly scammers. I just bump and ignore leolist. Occasionally I’ll remember to give them a new pic to verify and that’s about it.

I don’t even want to talk about how long ago I started hahaha.

Back page was great and so was leolist when they were a buck. I never really used Craigslist.

before leolist, I had an ad on Eros, a Canadian site who’s name I don’t remember now, Georgia straight and then later Eros and back page.

Eros had the best customer service and the clients were great. Then they went to shit.

Tryst is the new Eros. Eros back in the day was better.

Leolist and back page are very similar. I think I preferred back page. Back page only started raising their rates when they got into legal trouble and needed to pay lawyers and then back page disappeared. They were a buck for the longest time tho. It was only the last 2 years they went crazy with rates. All the way up to $10 a bump lol.

The USA are such war mongering puritanical hypocrites. Every day I’m grateful to be Canadian. It’s a bit scary living next door with Trump in charge tho 😭

I was seeing ads by some obviously banned @Foxy604 Official client, created fake ads very slanderous in the services being offered at super cheap pricing. Very juvenile, and felt for the shop as they had to deal with this. I flagged them, but doubt it did anything on leolist.
I’m really liking that most shops are going the way of telegram now. You have to add them, but they already in my contact list anyways.

I came into this after backpage but have heard it was good and yes was told about when Leo List was a dollar for your ad and much less now. In just 3 years Leo is double, it’s ridiculously expensive. When I visit my family in Toronto and sometimes do incall a few hours, Toronto is twice as much as here, it’s crazy high. I have heard bad things about Eros now too, so that is a shame it went that way.

I too am grateful for being Canadian too, especially with what has been going on south of the border.

When about half the ads are scams or for onlyfans, the owners only care about ad revenue. The scam parts are like throwing a wrench into the escort advertising platforms.
When you look at craigslist, eros, and backpage, with pressure from US law enforcement agencies (puritian laws shit) to shut down the sites. The excuse was to stop human trafficking, but it didn't in any form. Like Canada sex laws it only made it go underground.
My take is before the Canadian law you had escort agencies, and few independant escorts. Now with the Cdn law it seems to be the other way around, with more independent escorts.
Its harder to make a website, if the website is connected to the USA.
Agencies used to have a set low rate for services, now its a whole smorgashboard of menu items. It seems the menu items have doubled since covid, and the basic service has increased by 75-100%.

I see some of the ads from LeoList have made their way here. Are the ads for free sex in return for filming content real? I thought those were all scams but I saw a couple posted in the independent category here...

I have automatic doubts on these too. I'm not sure if there's any vetting/verification for perb ads beyond sending in the ad payment (BTC is an option too).

Some fake OFs came onto here a while back and were banned after being caught.

I did reverse image search and these photos link to a different OF account. The images may be stolen from another OF account. This entire write up and with the over use of varying emojis looks suspicious to me. She does not come up in google search either, as in no website or socials, nothing outside of ads. Most OF creators have socials.

There are a LOT of these "collab" ads on leolist! Red flags include contact via weird apps, no presence on perb/terb/merb, twitter. Lots of clues in the pics themselves.

Does anyone really think there are hot models who can't find anyone to fuck them? Anyone that stupid deserves to get scammed.

Plus...stealing pics is an asshole thing to do.
