Does no review request effect search tool on Perb?

The reason I ask is because I did a search on 'Hailie Coco' and there should have been several matches, but there were none. You find several references to Coco in the latest reviews for Hailie when she was with Pink Diamond. Also Coco has an ad on Perb that mentions Hailie.

Does anyone have a logical explanation?

As far as I know there are no restrictions on the search function for DNR members. I just did a search on someone I know is DNR and pages of hits came up. And remember we don’t recognize DNR unless they’re on the PERB list.

Fair enough. Mr Mod, when you search for the string I mentioned above, what comes up?

And, if like me, only this thread comes up, why doesn't the other threads which contain both Hailie and Coco come up?

Yes, I get the same when I search for Hailie by itself. But only my thread comes up if I search for Hailie Coco. I have searched for multiple strings in the past such as 1122 Sammi and it has worked as expected.

Has a change been made to the search feature?

Depends on the logarithm of the search function. Also the moderators search is going to have more control/logarithim/search function due to mods hierarchy in the Perb system due to their access for Perb.
Also I do think the system limits the searching to a time limit, due to ancient posts on Perb . Also access to files maybe in different places (physical) and may not be accessable in general for perb members, but should be for mods.
In general, a search will only find what is recent, as opposed to shuffling through every post made on perb from the beginning. These searches really bog down systems.
Also a single word is easier to find then 2 words in a search.
Then comes the mighty google search method of advertisers first.....

And now comes the troll part, you should read my thread on it.
Try: Hailee,Coco

My guess is that in order for a search term to return a post, the search terms must exist together in at least a post in the thread.
So in the case of "Hailie Coco" even though there are plenty of threads with both the term "Hailie" and "Coco" pepper across multiple posts, only a few threads have at least a single post that contains both "Hailie" and "Coco"

So visually

Thread 1 - Not returned
  • Post 1. ... "Hailie"...
  • Post 2 .... "coco"...
Thread 2 - Returned
  • Post 1. ...
  • Post 2. "Hailie" ... "coco"
  • Post 3. ....
Which also can explain why people complain of posts being deleted or blacklisted when they're searching with multiple search terms.
