Some of you are missing the point regarding the Harvard issue.

If the Trump administration believe that Harvard has broken the law then they should bring it before the courts... Not have a descriminatory policy to extract whatever they are after. They have tonnes of options to pursue this legally. Their lawless behavior on this and so many other fronts blatantly concedes that they haven't a legal leg to stand on.

This will go to court and the Trump administration will lose and they know it. And Trump will claim that it's "judicial activism" because that's his go-to excuse for his totalitarianism being checked by the judiciary.

"What Trump is doing is illegal" !!!!
"It’s against the law"!!!!
"It’s totalitarianism" !!!!!
How is it illegal? What laws are being broken? How does it constitute totalitarianism? Crimes did occur at Harvard. Talk about missing the point.
So ironic.

why don’t you ask the courts including the Supreme Court ? ( of which many of the judges are republican appointed. Ask them why so many of his executive orders and blatant ignorance of your constitution are being rejected. Crimes occurred at the Capitol also or was it just freedom of speech ?
You didn't answer any of my questions. Your passive aggressive response is typical of a person who doesn't have any answers.

Trump's tactics are not about going to court to actually resolve a legal dispute, it's about flexing power to keep others in check. The man held a grudge against sesame street for parodying him back in the 80s. Harvard displeased Trump, now they get to enjoy a nice legal battle with the President and all the negative attention and fallout from his supporters, some of whom may be Harvard alumnus or donators, or even employers of Harvard grads. Who knows what other punishments Trump will cook up. Even if you are legally in the right, is this something you want to get dragged through the mud for? Other institutions are going to keep their heads down and bend the knee, because if he's willing to go after Harvard, nobody is safe.

Oh yeah that’s right , haha… you magats don’t like being challenged on your right to a lynch mob … i have answers but I don’t think anyone has an answer for how out of touch you are
Ok, keep all those great answers to yourself. The hole that you're digging gets deeper every time you post.
Pretty soon we won't be able to see you at all.

Trump and maga hate higher education.
The fake anti-semitism panic is a smokescreen, an excuse to keep Americans ignorant and xenophobic.
I don't think there's any "fake antisemitism" at all. The Jews are the group that are the most openly discriminated against to the point where it's tolerated and even acceptable. Hamas supporters (yes Hamas does represent Palestinians) on campus with their protests also protest against holding any Jewish events on canpus and openly harass Jewish students. Universities do nothing about it. It's not just the US, but Canada too. If you ask these students anything about the history of the area, they know nothing about it, they were just indoctrinated to believe Palestinians are actual innocent victims and Israel is committing genocide and openly killing babies which is a total load of bullshit. If this garbage is allowed to spread, society will dehumanize Jews... again... hold a pro Israel protest on any university campus and see how it goes.

You're doing a great job at creating a bigger divide here. But that's just liberal politics. Anyone that has a different opinion then your narrow one is an extreme right. Seeing as how the mods and your small fragile ego are going to continue to resort to name calling I guess Antifa Libtard is overdue.

the removal of international student visas for Harvard only and not all universities is discriminatory. this will be deemed illegal by the courts.

well, yeah... Trump has proved that there are a lot of things that someone with his complete lack of shame can do. the US will not be the same possibly for decades after this... others will follow his path.

no, you are incorrect on many aspects. i know you're not making this up... its the information echo chambers that you consume that are incorrect.

supporters of the Palestinians are supporting non-combatant civilians. they support Palestinians having self governing rights, the right to international trade and freedom to travel. these supporters do not harass Jewish students on university campuses unless confronted... any largely verbal confrontations between Palestinians and their supporters and any Jewish people and their supporters is between anti-Zionists and Zionists. not all Jews are Zionists. thats really important to understand.

Jewish Zionism is the idea that the land mass of Israel, which currently encompasses Gaza and the West Bank, be all part of the state Israel. Zionists want a Jewish state where laws are heavily influenced by Jewish religion. all non-Jews in Israel (one fifth of the population) have lower legal status in Israel already. they are heavily discriminated against.

the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank are a completely different level of discrimination. for decades they have lived in what are essentially open air prisons. most Palestinians have known nothing other than this way of life.

Born and raised in Vancouver. I've lived my entire life in Canada. If me being American is part of your delusion I'm OK with it.

"Largely verbal" Lol! Is that like the "Largely peaceful" BLM riots? The "open air prison " is another fallacy. I'm not going to waste time explaining it all to you because you've probably spent a long time drinking the Palestinians are victims Kool aid. Interesting that the Arab/Muslim countries have no interest in having "Palestinians" come to their countries. I wonder why?

Been gone for a week and wow, everyone is all hot and bothered. But understandable.

So I spent the last 4 days in New York with banking types. They are all glum. On the one hand, many of them figure that they are agile enough to make money trading the markets and most are confident that they can handle things to a degree. But they seem to all agree that the world economy is on the road to being fucked and that Trump is a major reason. These guys were citing recession in China, slowness in Europe, etc. And they said that yup, it would be necessary to lower the bank rates to juice economies and maybe even do some level of quantitative easing. But then they started talking about the US. Everyone is predicting that the US is headed into a recession but that they will suffer a special kind of hell - primarily due to the tariffs. With the tariffs creating inflation in a recessionary economy, the solution cannot simply come from lowering the fed rate. Instead, they said the long term pain in the US would be worse (stagflation) than elsewhere with some advising to look into European assets, not because these are better but because their relative decline will be less. And they said that the work is re-organizing itself to be less dependent on the US.

I have spent my life building things and I am glad that I am close to the end of my career. What struck me was the unwillingness of the money to invest long term. Nobody wants to to that because the American situation is so uncertain (they told me not to use the word 'chaotic' as I will make trouble for myself). They are predicting lots of volatility in the markets, up to new heights even before an eventual crash. The only thing that most of them seemed to like was some level of gold among assets. But at the same time, they weren't willing to lend to new gold producers because that would be a long term investment.

Well, at least New York was nice. First 3 days, nice weather. Everyone was polite and it was relatively fun. I didn't spend any money as people were buying me dinner and plying me with drinks. The only thing was that I had to wear my damn suit all days long.......

Varies now
The secretary of homeland security testifying before Congress, under oath, on video, lying about what habeus corpus is.
The entire regime are performing for their koolaid drinking maga audience.
I don't think Krispy Gnome was lying; she doesn't know what habeas corpus is.
