Even if religion wasnt around, wars would still happen, cuz people love to fight, argue, and ultimately say my way is better than yours.

Some people have made their bank accounts there god, and money their religion, and look what that's done to the world.

And neither fought religious wars but look at the other 90% of the wars over the eons, some still going on decades if not centuries later. The body count makes the other guys' look pretty puny.

Atheism is comparable to religion when used as an alternate to religion.
Stalin used atheistic beliefs as justification of purifying the soviet state of religious influence.

It still comes down to "we have to rid the world of these beliefs because they threaten our own beliefs" ideal.

Religion isn't in fact the problem. The real problem is the lack of acceptance and respect for someone elses beliefs, whatever they may be.

Let bygones be bygones.
