Every single leolist post has ripped me off

I'm new to this, but i was hoping people had better morals. I tried out basically every verified posting in leolist last night and either was asked for absurd amounts of deposit money or was ghosted entirely. I'm not some kind of mutant or anything, I'm just a hard working guy who wants some weekend incall fun. Why do you keep ripping me off? Why was I waiting until 4am for a girl who never showed? The last example was Kimross2203@gmail.com, picture attached. I sent deposit. She dragged me on saying it was for travel costs or whatever. As soon as it was deposited she ghosted. I'm just so sick of this. Is there anyone out there who WON'T rip you off?

Sorry you are having such bad luck.......that's where this forum and 411 can save you a lot of frustration and $$$..... there are a lot of honest and fantastic providers in Victoria.......do your research.......good luck.....

I have been ripped off as well and have become wiser as a result. I am strictly no deposit, you can cross reference perb for reviews. Search the name and last four digits of the number of the SP on Leolist for simultaneous ads in other cities, and try using a reverse image search. AMP's are good, however hit and miss in terms of the girl you get is actually the one in the photo. If you say cash only, a reputable SP will understand and negotiate appropriately. They don't like scammers either. A scammer will say whatever they need to in order to get money from you and if feels suspicious. Go with your instinct. Do your homework, don't be too discouraged as there are good people out there and fun times ahead.

Do you even read reviews? Or any of the posts that talk about avoiding rip offs?

1. Don't ever send a deposit to a rando on LL who doesn't have reviews here.
2. Don't ever even bother looking on LL after midnight. Jerk off.
3. Stick to reputable agencies, PERB advertisers and well reviewed independents.

LL is a cesspool, even tryst has it's problems, but using the big brain and not the little one should make this much easier.

Try sticking to the agencies or massage places that offer extras.. you pay when you get there and can always walk if you don’t like what you see.. just my two cents

So you joined 12 April and a fortnight later your announcing your blunders. It takes time to satisfy the urge when first starting out. Research research research. You NEVER EVER agree to a deposit when there is no online history in which to confirm the validity of the provider and their service. When you start chatting with a lady ask her point blank if she has any online presence. Twitter, PERB TERB, MERB or any other online community. She must be able to provide you with easy reference. Otherwise stop wasting your time and move on. Sorry for the tough love here, but. I have a hard time having any sympathy if your not going to use the obvious resources available to you.

The internet has scammers. Leolist is no different than that. I get several phishing emails a day. You don’t have to go back to your hand or to dating. You just have to learn the red flags and how to avoid them and learn how to use perb. And then just have tons of no strings attached fun.

If you’re horny in the middle of the night, call a 24 hour agency. They probably still exist. I’ve worked at a zillion of them. Don’t call an independent. Call an agency and have a lady delivered to your door at 3am.

The industry has been evolving in the recent times. Deposits have become the norm for many reliable providers. I don't blame them. It guarantees some certainty and a sense of security, along various other screening methods.

Business and the sweet smell of money attracts people who have dishonest intentions. This is no different than shopping for a car or a vacation in the south. Use online resources and do your homework, the same way you would do with any other transaction. It builds trust on both sides. Establish a network of reliable providers. The smaller, the better.

So you are obviously new to this and have no common sense. So you need rules you must follow. To paraphrase the mods:

1, NEVER pay a deposit even if you think she is reliable.
2, NEVER have an Outcall girl come to your place
3. Go to the advertised Asian massage parlours with 5 girls or more with a fixed address And learn the ropes.the prices are acceptable and there are no complete ripoffs, only widely different quality of services. And you will learn to negotiate pricing.

Yes. Negotiating in this hobby in Canada is a good way to be quickly blacklisted.

Anyway I have found that being a repeat client of a SP offers many benefits - for example the sex is often better as you get to know each other and enjoy each other’s company, sometimes extras are provided without extra cost - although I would never expect this or if it happened once I would not ever ask for it another time.
I also tend to round up fees for example $380 would become $400. It’s not a large tip but I am consistent.

try Tryst instead of LL.
Don't pay deposits on LL. although i have paid 1 deposit for one SP, but she was well reviewed on this site.

Before you book, or text, look on here for name and last4 digits of the phone number and see what you get. As you do it more you learn to sift through them quite quickly

I also got scammed once I was new to this thing. However, I realized the most important thing is to do your research and spot red flags. A deposit is not a red flag just depends on who. In my case, when I got scammed a couple of years ago, I just made sure to be more careful about whom I agreed to send money to. I would advise that it's best to seek someone reputable, and in that case, Tryst is a better place to search for escorts than Leolist. You won't go wrong there. Most SPs have strict deposit policies so I wouldn't suggest saying no to paying a deposit. Alternatively, try same-day bookings and you might be lucky enough not to be asked for a deposit. Just don't do it late at night as I don't think anyone legit is up THAT late at night. Better luck next time Champ.
