There was a thread started in the Victoria section that I felt deserved a Vancouver Edition.
From what I can see there were a few things that I've noticed.
Anything else you noticed through out last year?
From what I can see there were a few things that I've noticed.
- Agencies becoming more popular. In the past agencies were looked down upon, and people automatically questioned your integrity if you saw someone at an agency instead of spending time with an indy provider. Could be a number of reasons for this change.
- Pseudo agencies. Or I guess incall rentals with a more cohesive approach. Where renting incall spaces means providers have to go through screening, and the incall adds a stamp of approval to the provider. Other services are provided as well such as advertising. Think PDC.
- OF Girls using escort-centric spaces to advertise. Seen a lot of tempting ads on Leo and Tryst that turn out to be verified posts for OF girls. Anyone that thinks subscribing to their OF gets them an in person meeting, needs to squash that dream now. (You won't).
- Decreased number of visiting providers from Toronto and Montreal. I think word might have gotten around that Vancouver has been burnt out. Or maybe there's not the same amount of dumb money people have to throw around any more.
- More East Indian providers. Didn't think this would happen, given how close knit that community can be, and a general reputation for poor service. Used to be alot of Fujian providers for that reason.
- Using Telegram to communicate directly to customer base. Instead of advertising on Leo, and bumping their ads hourly/daily/whenever, I've seen a couple of agencies and providers give their clients a Telegram link to subscribe to. The providers then post on the professional channel the days, locations and times they're be available. They're basically side stepping Leo and Tryst altogether, and targeting clients who actually have some interest in seeing them.
