Whose banned bro troll new handle is this? He must need Perb more than Perb needs him.
PERB is not a democracy comrade member, in case there’s anyone who hasn’t figured it out this is our resident troll who is apparently having some kind of mental breakdown over all of his handles I’ve banned lately.
I do find it interesting that the moderation on PERB seems to be significantly stricter than on TERB, though I still consider TERB to have more stringent moderation compared to most sites I visit.
However, as long as I'm still advised about which girls to avoid, it doesn't bother me too much.
I believe it would be incredibly entertaining to have just one lounge thread where members can freely criticize and roast the mods without the threat of being banned. I would definitely grab some popcorn for that!

With all the recent troll bannings and their ability to immediately metastasize and reappear, it would be cool to see a genealogy of all their handles. You know, IDOKs became Yaletown Fuckboy, became so-and-so. I’m not sure why they put so much effort in reapplying to a club they so clearly despise?

We are actually really easy going for the most part and not hard to please. Follow the rules, post in the right place and you will never hear from us. Even some of the board's biggest critics got a lot of leeway, until they broke enough rules to hang themselves.
These trolls are getting almost sad in their efforts now, accusing mods of demanding freebies from the ladies (this does happen on other boards to the east of here mind you, just not the *ERB family) pretending to be journalists sending PMs to providers looking for dirt, creating handle after handle, spending who knows how much on VPN's that end up with IPs from all over the world. This newest OP's VPN says they are in Georgia, near Russia. Except now that IP is attached to that handle and the next time he needs another one, and another, and another. I say he because 99% of our trolls are guys. There's only been one or two ladies, ever, who can't stop getting banned, mostly for unpaid ads or shill reviews.

I’m actually quite sincere in my question. I really would like to understand what motivates them to spend so much time, energy and money to keep returning to a site where they clearly dislike the people who manage it, the women who advertise, and the men who post. Can anyone suggest a plausible reason?

There are likely as many reasons for these people to do what they're doing as handles they use to do it. One main thing is simple anonymity -- if people had to sign up using verified ID, then the threat of being 'outed' would likely moderate their behaviour somewhat.
But then again, most of these basement dwellers have nothing to lose even if they were outed for their abhorrent behaviour.
Better to ask why anyone would want to be a Mod and have to deal with these imbeciles on a nearly daily basis.

That’s a good question I wish I could give you an answer, trolls come and go usually it is just someone trying to ruin an SP’s business or there just bored and ramble on and on about nothing. This individual however is in a class by himself he’s manipulative and vindictive and seems to have a major hate for the moderation team and a certain agency. It’s even been theorized that it may be a former employee of that agency but there’s no evidence either way. All I can say is I wish to god I had as much free time on my hands as these idiots!
Entitlement. They feel entitled not only to access of and participation on the forums, but also to freedom of speech without consequence. They feel justified rebelling because they cannot accept the punishment they were given as being valid nor reasonable.
It is easier to feel angry, entitled, and justified than it is to accept loss of community and the shame of punishment due to poor behaviour. If they can find more like-minded people, they can feel validated by them despite their history of bans here. They want to belong and feel "not wrong". It's human.
Following what you had said, they want to be able to freely dump on women and men alike for not meeting their unspoken expectations on what they believe society, and this forum, should be like without judgment nor repurcussions. It's really awkward because the people they want to find community with constantly don't want them around here shouting everyone else down and telling those who disagree with them that they are emotional simps and white knights for having positive opinions they do not agree with. It's like entering a church and demanding they change the religion for them - side eye and blasphemy 👀
When freedom of speech comes without risk of consequence, what becomes of us in a cesspool without the most basic order? The forum rules are tidy and simple - easy to understand in a single read-through if mental gymnastics is not your Olympic designation.
Anyways, those are my thoughts. Also, they are undoubtedly contacting naysayers so that they could collect the rebellious masses here 💫
