Can you give us an example what your fear for your personal Democracy? Are you afraid you have to provide ID to vote? Having your personal computer searched by the Feds if you say Trump is bad?
Being sued for having a Democratic bumper stickers? Having MSNBC and shows like the View taken off the air?
In his previous term what limited your lifestyle to be in misery?
It's funny to think that people think Trump will be good for the economy, obviously ignoring how badly he fucked it up last time. The only reason it even started off well for him, was because he was able to surf off of Obama's accomplishments. I think his incompetence will be on full display this time.

The war in the Ukraine, is much more than just Putin trying to go back to a former soviet state and controlling eastern block countries.
Europe predominantly gets their oil/natural gas from Russia. The Ukraine has some undeveloped Oil Reserves discovered around 2016.
If the Ukraine develops these oil fields, it elevates Europeans reliance on Russia exclusively for their oil/natural gas needs, which greatly reduces Russian influence in Europe.
This war is very much about control of these oil fields. (FULL STOP)
I am never going to endorse the degree to which Israel has taken retribution for the Oct 7 attacks.
It would appear that, with the results of the election down south, Israel now has full support to continue their tactics against what they perceive as evil.
So if any Palestinians abstained from voting they essentially voted for what was begotten. Sometimes you have to support the lesser of two evils.
It would be hard for me now, to shed any tears over, what it would seem, is about transpire.
It truly is sad what has occurred, and one can only hope that the tyranny, from both sides, comes to an end.
Regardless of the election results, whether you support the results or not, the world will continue to rotate on its axis, and will continue orbiting the sun.

The thing that stands out as not being said enough, is the above statement, of which I could not agree more.
i'm going to suggest that any tariff that happens will be negligible and symbolic only. Trump has his presidency and now doesn't give a fuck about the working class. he will protect the markets and the markets will not like tariffs.

That is absolutely true. Despite the trepidation of the Euro & UK oligarch class, it is high time they stopped depending on the USA for anything, especially strategic / defense leadership & technology.
Not because the Americans (like Trump) nag them about it, but because in all the last 35 years, since when has listening to the USA (be it republican or democrat led) on strategic matters ever turned out well for Europe?
The whole agenda of NATO expansion & war in Ukraine is something Washington wanted, and which Washington alone benefits from. Same goes for the Americans' Middle East agenda - their actions have done nothing but cause mayhem and genocidal levels of bloodshed, and flooded Europe with unwanted migrants as a side effect. This chaos in Europe is all thanks to the the benefit of America's strategic "leadership", which Europe has habitually gone along with rather than deal with the complicated relationships & agendas & histories they have with each other.
So in my opinion the "threat" that under Trump, the US will be disengaging from the Ukraine war, turning away from Europe, and maybe even ending NATO, is ultimately no threat all. European security might actually improve with Washington finally out of the picture - because Europe will create a new defensive military alliance which will be in charge of European defenses instead of Washington, and much more responsive to Europe's actual strategic needs, instead of dragging them as junior partners into a parade of terrible mistakes. The Ukrainians, however, will be justifiably pissed off, after being weaponized by Washington against Moscow, thus causing a war where they were abandoned by the very country that manipulated them into it.
So much as the rest of Trump's presidency might be a disaster & abomination, in this one respect, it might turn out right despite the wrong reasons.
